Re: Caution about Reproductions

A little more info on these repros I wanted to share. Today I received the retron 5 I ordered. I tested all my repros on it and had no issues. They fit in the cartridge slot and boot up fine. It's also cool that I finally got to finally play my famicom games I've had for years. My famicom 60 in 1 ca...

Re: Ebay & Amazon Good or Bad for everyone?

I love ebay. I've been selling about $2000 a month in video games. These sales are what fund my ridiculously expensive video game habit. I don't feel bad paying $100 for a game if I know I can flip it anytime I want for a tidy profit. I dont look at it as a business though it's just a fun hobby tha...

Re: Caution about Reproductions

Thanks for the 32X offer Wally but I already got a new one, so I'm back in business. I still plan to review the repos (via a Game Genie) and appreciate you recommending them. I think the odds of a repro damaging a system is low, but people should at least be aware of the risks. Looking forward to y...

I agree viewpoint was disappointing. I give it points for trying something different in the shmup style game though. Genny is my favorite console don't hesitate to keep dropping new reviews.

Re: Caution about Reproductions

I don't suspect repro carts will hurt a Genesis or Nomad. I have over a dozen or so repro's and I've had no problem with a Genesis or Nomad. It's clear now DO NOT USE A 32X with repros. Better yet use a Game Genie as a bridge just in case if you have one. I love having Physical copies of these other...

Re: Caution about Reproductions

Sorry to hear about the damage critic. Especially since I recommended the game. I've never used my 32x to play these repro's. I have used my Model 1 system and my Nomad and never had any issues although they do fit tighter then a normal cart. Using the game genie as a pass though is a great idea and...

Re: Reproduction carts, are they safe?

I just bought another Japanese exclusive repro. Alien Soldier - Grade A-. This game is the most impressive Genesis game I have ever played. Produced by Treasure the game is the spiritual successor to Gunstar Heroes. If you didn't know any better and just saw someone playing this game you would think...

Re: 2015/9/22: Super Nintendo: California Games II, Phalanx, Tinstar

I have phalanx for the gba and I like it. Not great or anything but not a bad shmup. Pretty slim pickings for shmups on the snes and gba and this game helps fill that void a little.
