Breaking news: The Order: 1886 is a bust

Well, I rented the game and I guess it's good to go into something like the Order 1886 with lowered expectations. Because I actually enjoyed myself a lot! Yes there are a lot of cutscenes/QTEs and some pacing issues in the beginning. But the shooting is really good, the story's pretty interesting, t...

Xbox One value bundle at Amazon

That is a crazy deal. We've seen the assassins creed bundle at $350 for a while, but an additional physical game and an additional controller for the same price? Wow. Microsoft has really been pulling out the stops on the XBox One lately.

Is the Vita a good buy?

I'm not sure where Tron heard that there are no movies on the Vita but there's an entire section of the PS Vita store dedicated to movies and TV shows. You can even rent movies from PSN. There's also a video app where you can download your own movies to and watch them. Also, he mentions the GBA, DS,...

Is the Vita a good buy?
The Vita hasn't even outsold the Sega Game Gear, which only sold 11 million worldwide! The Vita currently sits at less than 5 million
This is incorrect. Worldwide, the Vita has sold about 10 million units. It's actually sold a little better than ...

Games you like that nobody else does?

@ptdebate - I enjoy Star Ocean 2 so much I bought it twice! I have the PSOne original and the PSP game (which is basically the same thing with just a few tweaks).

The games that I truly love that no one else seems to like at all:

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest (NES) -- Sol...

Question about Dragon Age: Inquisition

Thanks, pt! Appreciate the feedback. It's interesting the way you put it; JRPG gamers tend to like Bioware because of the focus they put on story. That's a really precise observation. Developers like Bethesda don't really want the story to take away from the freedom, and I th...

Breaking news: The Order: 1886 is a bust

I was quite excited for this. News broke about a week ago that the length of the game is between 5.5 and 7 hours long. That didn't bother me at all, since games like Uncharted and God of War usually end around the 9 or 10 hour mark. The important thing is to do a lot in those 7 hou...

Games you like that nobody else does?

@DaHeckIzDat - NiER is an EXCELLENT game. On top of the great combat, surprisingly deep story and cool art style it has one of the greatest video game soundtracks ever created. There are soundtracks that I *like* more-- Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, Mega Man 2, Castlevania: Symphony of ...

Question about Dragon Age: Inquisition

This is a question for ptdebate, Ozzy, or anyone else who really got into this game. I'm a JRPG gamer when it comes to RPGs. I just don't do the Western thing very often, but Bioware seems to be the exception, as I enjoyed the Mass Effect games (still crossing my fingers for a 1080p60 ve...

Is the Vita a good buy?

It's a difficult question to answer for sure. You said there are about 10 games that appeal to you and that sounds like a buy to me. 10 games I want is usually my breaking point; I'll give in and buy it. Your standards may be a little higher than that. If so, look a litt...
