Re: Underrated N64 Games?

It depends on what you mean by "haven't gotten the respect they deserve". For instance, I think that Space Station Silicon Valley is a hidden gem, but the game has a very solid reputation. Anywho, check a few of these out: Space Station Silicon Valley Blast Corps Body Harvest Mischief Mak...

Underrated N64 Games?

Hey guys, I'm looking for some N64 games that you personally think haven't gotten the respect they deserve. Basically, hidden gems to add to my N64 collection.

Any recommendations?

Re: Streets of Rage & StarFox 64

I enjoy the first Streets of Rage, even if I prefer the sequel. Good ole Genesis beat'em-up action. I can also attest Star Fox 64's greatness. The finest wine envies how well it's aged. At first it seems scripted (which it is), but if you're not paying attention, you'll miss loads of secrets, altern...

Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Genesis)

Wow. I don't think I can find a more addicting game ever, let alone in the puzzle genre. This is basically the American translation of Puyo Puyo, a popular puzzle game from Japan, but with Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog characters. I can't really describe it, but there's few moments in gaming as s...

Re: Is Sonic 2 the best Sonic Game?

Sonic 3 & Knuckles is definitely the best overall game IMO, but stand alone it's Sonic 2. Though Sonic 3 & Knuckles wipes away even some of the (extremely) minor flaws from Sonic 2 to deliver an ever better paced game. The game isn't as fast as Sonic 2, but I think it's for the better, as th...

Is Sonic 2 the best Sonic Game?

After multiple playing sessions, I think it is. I love the first Sonic game, but it had a few flaws that prevent it from being perfect IMO. Marble Zone was pretty tedious, the game doesn't have as many moments of speed as I'd like it to have, and the lack of a spin dash makes it tougher to get past ...

Re: Excitebots Trick Racing (Wii)

Easily in my top 5 favorite Wii titles, and one of my all time favorites in general. It knocked my socks off the first time I played it, and it's pretty much the epitome of fun. Hell, even when I'm losing I'm still having a ball.

Always a favorite of mine to pull out with a few friends.

Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed

I've been playing this game on multiple platforms and DAMN is it good. Like really good. It might be the best racer I've ever played. I was already a fan of the first Sega All Stars racing game, but this blows it out of the water. Better controls, track design, graphics, sound, more alternate routes...

Your Desert Island Albums?

This thread is simple: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what albums would you listen to? (NO LIMITS AS TO HOW MANY YOU WOULD TAKE EITHER) In no particular order Deftones-Koi No Yokan Depeche Mode-Violator Massive Attack: Mezzanine Tool-Lateralus System of a Down-Toxicity Jeff Buckley: Grac...

Re: Favorite YouTube Gamers?

I don't watch too many YouTube gamers these days, but one that always appeals to me is penguinz0 (or Cr1TiKal). His videos are hilarious to me because of his dry, deadpan delivery and humor, as well as non sequitur jokes. He also makes more sports references than the average gamer, and it's a laugh ...
