Favorite Album Closers of All Time?

So I've been listening to a lot of album closers (final song on an album), so I figured I'd post this topic. What are your personal favorites? Here's my favorites from the top of my head. Slint: Good Morning Captain Weezer: Only in Dreams Jeff Buckley: Dream Brother Radiohead: Every album closer the...

Re: Best Mario Kart Game?

Rev, you make a good point about the slow gliders in MK7, and I understand why you dislike them. Personally, however, I think the reason I love that aspect was most of the time, you could use the glider to find alternative routes and "air geysers" if you will. But yeah, I can respect your ...

Best Mario Kart Game?

Was just playing a bunch of MK today and thought of this question. If I had to choose, I would say Mario Kart 7. The game is just pure fun, with ramps and speed boosts everywhere, shortcuts, great track design, and fantastic smooth graphics. It's pretty much the ultimate package, and each track is f...

Re: 1080 Snowboarding (Nintendo 64)

No guys, please don't do that. I'm really enjoying the 65-75 (and sometimes more) degree temperatures that we've been having this winter. At least for the most part, it got pretty cold around Christmas time so maybe you guys played a lot of winter games then. My area just got hit with a lot o...

1080 Snowboarding (Nintendo 64)

Along with Rush 2 (really enjoying it) I got 1080 Snowboarding in the mail several days ago as part of a late Christmas gift, and while I struggled with the controls early, I got past the learning curve, and I can honestly say this is one of my favorite racing games for the N64. Where do I begin wit...

Re: Grimes' new album

I'm a big fan of their previous album, which was a dark, mellow dream. Heard boys of the new work, which sounds off putting. Perhaps I'll give it another chance, but it seems strange to me. Feels too radio friendly to me.

San Francisco Rush (Nintendo 64)

Been playing this one a lot recently, especially considering I ordered Rush 2 a few days ago from Amazon. A couple of things: This is a "love or hate" game. You either get it or you don't. While the racing aspect isn't great (the steering sucks), what truly makes SFR fun is the exploration...

The Top 5 3DS Games?

More than enough time has passed for us to rank the top 5 games on the 3DS, my personal favorite handheld since the Game Boy Advance. Choosing my favorite 5 games on the 3DS is not an easy task, as there are so many quality titles, so this list could be interchangeable. 5. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon...

Jet Force Gemini (N64)

So I'm playing JFG currently, and I have mixed reactions. On one hand, the first half of the game is really good. It plays like a 3D Metroid (before Metroid Prime came out too!), having you collect many weapons and hidden goodies. There are a boatload of secrets and hidden paths you won't find on yo...
