Re: Lynx Vs. Game Gear

I guess you mean 'screen quality' by 'graphics'? ... you could also look at the (official) periphales that were released... the Game Gear had a TV Tuner (though I never saw any in real life) and a Master System converter, which was pretty cool. Also interesting to look at is the possibility for Link...

Games The VGC rated too high

So, we're always complaining about games the VGC rated too low, because we liked them so much... But, do you think there are also games the VGC rated too high? Here's some of mine: Sonic and the Secret Rings (Wii) (B) - Besides the graphics (which are fantastic for a Wii game), I hate every part of ...

Re: RPGs for people who aren't fans of the genre?

Nothing against your recommendations but I'm curious why people bring up Zelda as an RPG... The only Zelda game that I think of that has RPG like elements is Zelda II for the NES. To me, the most I can say about A Link to the Past is that it is an action game that borrows some RPG elements like inc...

Re: RPGs for people who aren't fans of the genre?

I'd recommand games like Zelda: A Link to the Past , the Game Boy Zelda-games and Beyond Oasis (aka Story of Thor) , since those are oriented on action. Gameplay-wise, Mario & Luigi games are great too, but there's probably too much talking in those games. South Park: Stick of Truth was another ...

Re: Scare Me!

Scariest games I know... BioShock 1 Half-Life 2 Resident Evil Revelations Silent Hill Shattered Memories Project Zero 2 (aka Fatal Frame II) Gears of War 1 Well, that's it. I mean, I wasn't terribly scared or anything, but those games have some shock moments. And anybody should play BioShock 1 (even...

Re: Rodea: The Sky Soldier

I finally bought this game - just for the original Wii version! (I don't own a Wii U). And I enjoy it... it's like an old-school combination between Nights en Sonic. Yeah, I think the original Wii version is nice. I like that the box has a reversible cover (Wii/Wii U) too.

Re: Got a Nintendo Switch!

I think the Switch will mainly have downloadable-only titles... However, of the physical games that are available now, only Zelda, Bomberman R and Puyo Puyo Tetris look nice. I think you can skip all te rest until Super Mario Odyssey comes out...
