Re: Growing up with the NES

I live in Europe and I grew up with a Sega Master System, I have fine memories of that system too. I guess things make more impression on you as you are a kid, so the systems with had back in the days were very influential for our 'development as gamers'. :).... My favorite Master System games were ...

Re: Introducing the Nintendo Switch

But after Zelda, what will be the most important upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch? I guess most of the success will depend on the new ARMS franchise and Mario Odyssey. Or am I missing something?

Re: Games that justify the hardware purchase

I think the answer to that question is always personal. In first instance I bought a Xbox 360 for Gears of War and BioShock (exclusive release at first). I bought a Nintendo DS in for Hotel Dusk and Brain Training . I bought a Wii for Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 and Sonic Colors . And so on...

Re: New Icon Ideas

I like your ideas Captain! But what would "too much reading" look like? We already use a book symbol for another icon. I will add the coop icons to the games you mentioned. Please let me know what other games are missing icons and I will add those too. Maybe a reading glass? A school bord...

Re: New Icon Ideas

negative icons --> 'too much reading' (we know you hate it!)
specific icons --> 'contains dinosaurs' (we know you love them!)

BTW I think your icon list is nice, but it needs an update. (Cooperative Play without Bubble Bobble or Double Dragon II! e.g.)

Re: 2017/3/5: Nintendo 64: Top Gear Rally, Carmageddon 64

I enjoyed the original game on my iMac back in the days... (But I believe it was indeed hard to find out where to go).

Disaster: Day of Crisis

Has anyone played Disaster: Day of Crisis for the original Wii (a game by Nintendo)? It was only released in the EU and Japan, but it's quite fun (and good looking, at least for a Wii game). It's a kind of action-packed game, which combines different gameplay elements, like on-rails shooting, motion...

Re: River City: Tokyo Rumble (3DS)

It's a reason I don't really like the original either. I mean, the NES looks great and plays alright, but I never have a clue where to go or what to do...

Re: New Icon Ideas

I like 'split-screen', but I also like 'Multiplayer Co-op On One Screen' (or something like that) for games like Bubble Bobble, Streets of Rage, Double Dragon, Final Fight, and so on.

Re: Introducing the Nintendo Switch

I'm worried about the Switch. I'd love Nintendo to succeed, but I'm in doubt. For now, only two games gain attention: 1-2-Switch gets the 'general' audience interested in the unique functions of the Switch (as I saw on television). On the other hand, the new Zelda pleases all hardcore gamers and Nin...
