Re: Most and Least Comfortable Controllers

I always thought the Genesis three button was actually more comfortable than the six. The best controller ever, no contest has gotta be the Xbox Controller S. It just feels perfect in my hands, never understood why they changed the shape for the 360. Worst controller that I've personally used was pr...

Re: Classic vs Modern Gaming: Where's the line?

I agree with the above except that I'd almost have to split up the 2D. Atari 2600/Intellivision/early 80's games are very different than SNES/Genesis games. Games like Pac-Man and Asteroids are great but it isn't until the NES and later that games began to really even attempt to tell stories. Imagin...

Re: Factual error thread

I've noticed a couple of odd release dates.
Dark Seed for Sega Saturn is listed as 1993. The Saturn wasn't even released until 94 in Japan. Wikipedia lists the release as 1995 for the Saturn version, if we trust them as a source. There was a version released for the Amiga in 1993.

Re: My daughter and I have gotten into Star Trek

Good timing. We finish III (return of Spock) and IV (voyage home) this weekend. I had a hard time getting into return of Spock, but I enjoyed voyage home quite a bit. That said, it's definitely the funny/goofy one of the series, and I wouldn't want another one like that. The more I watch, the appre...

Re: Favorite sitcoms

For my favorites its got to be, Arrested Development fo' sure. Except the fourth season as others said. Tried twice and still can't get through it and also Seinfeld - I've got the whole show on DVD and I'll still watch it whenever it's on. Of course I'll still watch some of the classics if I come ac...

Re: Would Mobile Phone Gaming with Real Controls be better?

Mobile gaming with tactile controls could be awesome. The Xperia Play already had a great design for this the problem is the game selection. . I still wish Sony had made a proper PlayStation phone, one that I could actually put a PSP disc or PS Vita card into and play games not just downloadable and...

Re: Gulf Between Arcades and Consoles

There was a pretty big gap in 94 between arcades and home consoles but I'm not sure about singling out this time frame only. It was definitely just as big in the 80's with the NES being nowhere near as powerful as advanced arcades of the time. It continued right on until the arcade market shrunk to ...

Re: Game Review Recommendations?

I'm curious to see what you think of Jet Set Radio Future for the Xbox. It's quite a bit different than the Dreamcast one. Speaking of Dreamcast(or Xbox if you prefer) I'd really like to see a Shenmue II review. It's one of my all time faves and seems like a good time to revisit the series with the ...

Re: Farscape?

I love Farscape, but be sure to give it a bit. The first season isn't the best but it gets better. The aliens are fantastic, despite the low budget nature of the show puppets really make alien characters like Pilot and Rigel seam believable in a way few other sci-fi sows can manage. I haven't seen B...

Re: Ant-Man (and Avengers 2)

I'm a big fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and I totally agree. Age of Ultron felt like a big mess, and is one of my least favorite of the whole series. It's not an awful movie but it's just all over the place and feels totally unfocused. For me Ant-Man isn't this years Guardians. It's better. G...
