Re: Browns vs Tide. Who would win?

I have been cruising this site for 10 years and have never posted but I feel I should on this topic. I live in Tuscaloosa Alabama and have attended many of the games over the years. I not sure if the Tide could beat any pro team just anywhere but if you were to come to Bryant-Denny stadium and watc...

Re: 2016/12/17: Atari 7800: Dungeon Stalker, Frenzy

These look interesting...though, I feel like the graphics are pretty weak for 7800 games. I would have preferred to see these on a lesser system. By the way, do these really qualify as homebrews, being published by Atari Age? To me, yes they do. Although Atari Age published it, it was still probably...

Re: Number Muchers (Apple II)

Ah man, how I loved the day when we would be going to the computer lab. Number Munchers, ODell Lake, Carmen Sandiego, and Oregon Trail were the best. Same here. We didn't have Odell Lake at my school, though, so I've never played that one. That didn't stop me from buying it though!...bought a copy ...

Re: Number Muchers (Apple II)

Definitely one of my favorite educational games from early childhood. I don't even own an Apple II right now, and yet I still bought Word Munchers for it on eBay a couple months back. Just to have it handy if I ever get an Apple II. My memory is slipping...totally forgot about this topic. I actuall...

Re: Have Panzer Dragoon Saga? Need $24? Gamestop wants to help!

Listening to some youtuber speculation, they dropped their trade-in values like that to discourage people from trading in reproductions. If you havent been following, there have been quite a few people who have purchased rare games on there and received reproduction carts. Blatant reproductions at ...

Re: 2016/12/13: Philips CD-i: Christmas Crisis

Great to see you got your hands on this! I recommended this thinking that you would like the Christmas theme...I'm glad to see you liked the actual gameplay too. Since you enjoyed this, now you have no choice but to get Christmas Country for the CD-i, which is a similar Christmas game that came out ...

Have Panzer Dragoon Saga? Need $24? Gamestop wants to help!

For those unaware, Gamestop is now back in the business of trade-ins for retro games, which they sell on their website. You can even use the website to check the trade-in value of your games before you bring them in! It's a really fun tool to use, especially if you're the same kind of guy that wishe...

Re: Favorite Things about Video Games

Here's a few contenders..... GOOD: -Run button (which I will hold down while moving throughout the entire game) -Unlimited continues (no time for mastering games anymore) -Double jumping -High jumping ability -Character building/leveling up -Achievements -Weapon upgrade powerups -Cheat codes -And, o...

Re: Nintendo Supply Issues

I've always felt like it was a scheme to drive up demand. Especially with how effective it was with the Wii. You could never find a Wii in stores back when it came out. And then when it became a big fad to own one, I think it propelled sales even more. Because once people saw it in a store, they tho...

Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (Genesis)

It's been a long long time since I've been instantly mesmerized by a retro game. Or any game for that matter... Until last night when I popped Michael Jackson's Moonwalker in my Genesis for the first time. This game just oozes style. And ridiculousness, and humor. Best walk animation in video game h...
