Re: Classic Consoles Upkeep

At the suggestion of the Critic, I picked up a few of these: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Gem-Sound/SP-8500-Rackmounted-AC-Switch-Panel.gc They work great, and allow me to turn things on only when I need them. You can buy plug extenders at Wal-Mart (I think I got a 3-pack for under $10) that way you ...

Re: Are Wii Classic Controllers Rare?

My 2 gamestop has a bunch of them, but they seem oddly over priced. Then again, everything in gamestop is over priced.

Re: Tomcat Alley-Sega Cd

This was a pack-in when I got my sega cd decades ago (yeesh that long already?) Its a fun game. I actually just got another sega cd a few days ago and plan on picking this title up once again.

Its almost like they want you to buy multiples switches so you can play them with your friends.

Too bad they are as rare as bigfoot.

Re: Namco Museum (Switch)

I usually love these compilations, but the price tag is hefty for what youre getting. Should be $14.99 at the most, especially since it is digital only. I mean, the majority of those games have been released a bazillion times in a bazillion different way that they might as well just be free by now.

Re: Barbie NES

Understand that! Playing terrible games can actually be a lot of fun and a different kind of challenge. Can you beat the terrible controls and poor stage designs? Kind of why I like dragons lair on nes. Best of luck! Beat it. :D I just purchased Dragons Lair for the NES. Thats on my list of games t...

Re: Atari Box?

Got the official email update about this today. Looks really cool, but I am worried its just going to be another Steam Box. Hopefully they put some effort in to this, and it is something really cool. Hope that it takes some sort of physical media, as Atari game boxes were always the best to look at.

Barbie NES

Picked this game up yesterday and me and my GF gave it a shot last night. This game is a mess, but we were addicted to it. The controls suck, the platforming is horrible, the music is ear piercing, but we couldnt put it down. Its super short, takes maybe 20 minutes to beat, and after a single playth...

Re: Should nintendo drop the gimmicks?

Hi everyone, I think we are all skirting around the real issue here. Nintendo is putting out consoles that are lower specs than their competitors. I remember back in the 16-bit days when graphical horsepower was the rallying cry for Nintendo fans. They were right. The SNES was, in most categories, ...

Re: Should nintendo drop the gimmicks?

If the Switch was $100 cheaper, I might consider it. Too expensive for what you get IMO. Hell, I got a solid "off-brand" tablet from Amazon with similar specs that is comparable in size, and it was less than $100. I just see it as a WiiU 2.0, much like the Wii was a GameCube 2.0. So far, I...
