Re: The Last of Us GOTY Edition

I have been waiting for the Arkham Origins GOTY but I don't think it's ever going to hit. Settled for the Wal-Mart exclusive version as I got it for $10. Not sure what's up, maybe they are only doing PS4 remastered ports instead?

Re: Zaxxon on consoles?

I'm pretty sure the arcade version was released on the Wii virtual console a while back. Its also on the Sonic Collection as an unlockable.

Re: Most an least comfortable PORTABLE?

I know I'm in a major minority on this one but the original Atari Lynx is comfortable to me, the second one , not so much. As for least comfortable I'm really not sure as j don't really play much with portables! I never played the Lynx V2, but the V1 I thought was great. I loved how it would flip t...

Re: Steam Machines?

I was curious about these. When the Alpha first came out, I was tempted, as there are a lot of older titles on STEAM that I would like to play. Then I just figured I could just hook my laptop to my TV via HDMI and it would be the same thing. Its a cool idea, and actually feel its the wave of the fut...

Re: Will gamer expectations and the cost of making games eventually kill the industry?

Personally, I feel like all these next gen games are the same. Im so tired of FPS games and all of these lame COD clones. They were cool at first, but really, they are just "paint-by-numbers" gaming. Every one follows the exact same pattern. Then you have all of these massive budget games,...

Re: Most an least comfortable PORTABLE?

Im going to say the Vita, mainly because in addition to the regular buttons you have to use a pressure pad on the back and the L/R trigger buttons are usually done by pushing on screen prompts. Plus the analog stick isnt a button, so that usually adds to more on screen prompts. When all of those need...

Re: It feels good finally beating the first two Ninja Gaidens on the NES.

I remember getting NG when it first hit NES. As a kid, I could make it to the last stage with little effort (though I never beat it). Now, I can barely pass the second act lol. Same goes with games like TMNT and Battle Toads. I used to be able to get really far on those as a kid, but can barely get ...

Re: In defense of 'bad' disparaged games

Its funny because I get more enjoyment out of older games that arent very good than I do any new games. I cant stand any of the COD style FPS games, they are all the same. The only franchises I still follow are Zelda, Metal Gear, and the Arkham games (though Arkham Origins was garbage). I just picke...

I still enjoy Street Fighter and MK, plus a few gimmiky titles here and there. My problem is that I can never remember the combos or special moves. Its pretty much just button mashing for me, even after playing the same titles for about 2 decades now.

Re: My Classic Arcade Cabinet

That looks really cool. Are you considering painting it? I thought about it, but I think im just going to leave the wood finish. It reminds of those old pizza places I would go to as a kid. I am planning on getting this side art for it though: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111540346965?_trksid=p2060778.m...
