If you think console gaming has never been better, you'd say it never jumped the shark.

Sounds like you need to change to a different term instead of "jumped the shark".

That's like me saying I read a few lines from Seinfeld and decided it's "obviously" not funny and refusing to watch it.

Re: When did console gaming jump the shark?

I've never really thought of consoles, in general, jumping the shark, so you'll have to be more specific? Do you mean by adding peripherals to help sell a system or do you mean something about the console itself? It might be obvious to everyone else but I don't follow...

Re: I beat NES "Ninja Gaiden III" today

I am seriously in awe. I also consider myself a bit of a Gaiden junky who listens to techno remixes of NG songs in my car while I drive to work. But I despise the third one because of what I consider to be insulting difficulty. "Pissed me off at the company" difficulty. "I demand an e...

Re: Nintendo Direct and the "new" Nintendo focus

The main complaints I've heard about the game is there is a very long tutorial type start to the game. I hope they axe that, and the rest of the filler. I haven't played this, but I've played Skyward Sword and know EXACTLY what the complaints are. The game got so monotonous of going place to place ...

Re: Wolfenstein: The Old Blood (PS4)

I recently finished New Order on the PS3 but just bought a PS4 the other day. Can I buy Old Blood on the PS4 separately or does it need New Order to work?

Trolls. Shovel Knight is unimpeachable.

Amen. Nothing but "hardcore gamers" trying to promote their hardcore-ness.

Re: Why would a company not include an inversion option?

From what I read a lot of people complained about it and Konami blamed the development company, and the development company threw it back at Konami. No patch was released. Seems like the easiest thing in the world to include...

Re: Why would a company not include an inversion option?

Wow, I never thought I'd find people who actually use the inversion option. I never saw the point of it, for me if you hit up you need to look up, and if you hit down you need to look down. Having stuff do the opposite just messes me up. Of course it messes you up if your not used to it. I think it...

Why would a company not include an inversion option?

I just bought Silent Hill Homecoming per Dave's review today, and I'm sitting here bummed out on my couch because the game only allows you to invert your look when aiming, not your general camera movements. This essentially renders the game unplayable for me. Even if I do bite the bullet and play it...
