Re: 2016/1/16: Xbox One: Rise of the Tomb Raider

I think making this game an Xbox Exclusive (for a year) was a bad move... It would have sold much better if it had released A ps4 copy... Doesn't that go without saying? I always assumed that Microsoft would have to pay a premium to the developer if they wanted a game to be an exclusive, otherwise ...

Re: Rise of the Tomb Raider (Xbox One)

First of all, Sonic9x, that post was too freakin' long both times. Not sure why you needed to post the same thing twice. Second, just knowing that Tomb Raider has enough language to spur a response from people tells me all I need to know to wait and buy this game used and cheap. Recently on this for...

Re: Case For/Against Buying a Wii U?

I have a PS4, PS3, Nvidia Shield, Ouya, and Wii U. The Wii U gets, by far, the most play because of the great games it has and the backwards compatibility with the Wii. This makes its library stellar. My favorite system.

Re: Dads/fathers: when do you find time to play?

I'm 38 with five kids 10 and under. My two boys play a LOT, every waking moment if we allowed them, and occasionally I'll play with them, but often I prefer to use the time to get other stuff done so I can have some free time when they are all in bed. My wife is very easy going not emotionally needy...

If you think console gaming has never been better, you'd say it never jumped the shark.

Sounds like you need to change to a different term instead of "jumped the shark".

That's like me saying I read a few lines from Seinfeld and decided it's "obviously" not funny and refusing to watch it.

Re: When did console gaming jump the shark?

I've never really thought of consoles, in general, jumping the shark, so you'll have to be more specific? Do you mean by adding peripherals to help sell a system or do you mean something about the console itself? It might be obvious to everyone else but I don't follow...

Re: I beat NES "Ninja Gaiden III" today

I am seriously in awe. I also consider myself a bit of a Gaiden junky who listens to techno remixes of NG songs in my car while I drive to work. But I despise the third one because of what I consider to be insulting difficulty. "Pissed me off at the company" difficulty. "I demand an e...

Re: Nintendo Direct and the "new" Nintendo focus

The main complaints I've heard about the game is there is a very long tutorial type start to the game. I hope they axe that, and the rest of the filler. I haven't played this, but I've played Skyward Sword and know EXACTLY what the complaints are. The game got so monotonous of going place to place ...
