Any good FPS for Gamecube?

Timesplitters 2. Fun game, decent graphics, weird sense of humor (at times.) I recommend it (probably pretty cheap, too.)

Timesplitters: Future Perfect (TS 3, basically) is also decent, but for some reason I liked TS 2 better.

Colecovision Flashback thoughts and Dollar General Stores Clearance

Thanx for the heads-up! I picked up both (CV and Intv) for what I thought I'd have to spend on one alone.

Two new consoles (sort of) for Christmas!

Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox 360...?

Anybody try the 360 version of Horizon 2? No reviews (that I can find.) Makes me wonder if it's a half-baked version, or just has downgraded graphics.

Continuity and Canon in Video Games

I tend to look at each game as a standalone entity unless it's meant to be part of a trilogy, or something like that.

Didn't they change Dante in the Devil May Cry games? I haven't tried the newer games in that series.

Your Least Favorite Genre?
In RPGs, you have to make hard choices that determine your particular challenge and strategy for the duration of the game.
That might be part of my problem. I don't want to spend a lot of time following an upgrade-path only to find out I made a poor decision earlier in the ga...

Your Least Favorite Genre?

I'm probably in the minority around here, but I dislike RPGs. Any RPG, Japanese or Western. I don't even like it when they try slipping "RPG elements" into action games. Crafting stuff, leveling-up weapons, wandering around looking for crap, talking to random people... Ugh......

What did you think of Black Friday for games?

I didn't think this year's deals were all that great. The Xbone with two Assassin's Creed games for $320 wasn't bad...if you liked Assassin's Creed games... PS4 with two games for $400...still too pricey for me. Maybe next year. Some of the "Lightening Deals" on Amazon weren't bad. The only thing I ...

Your Favorite Video Games of 2014!

2014 games? I haven't bothered to get many "new" games this year. I have Destiny, my son likes it, I haven't even bothered to see if it'll work with my old 20 gig, non-gold X360...

Guess that leaves Mario Kart 8 all alone.

Too much cheap, older stuff to spend much time or money on new stuff.
Awesome feature! Gave a bunch of high ratings to your negative reviews of 360 games.
So...you give high ratings to games you actually like, or just give "opposite" ratings to be a contrarian?

Gamestick

Well now, this has been a strange week for me (gaming wise.) First, I go and buy Mario Kart DLC (something I didn't think I'd do), then I go and buy a...drum roll...GAMESTICK!

Called the local Gamestop, they had at least one left, but not for $20...it cost a whopping $17! So, ...
