Re: Halo 5

Online is the new social thing. I feel like a cantankerous old man saying it but most kids seem to think interacting online is just as good as in real life. It's weird to me, but Microsoft probably figured the facebook generation isn't going to care about playing on the couch with their friends. Ev...

Ever find a game you don't remember buying?

I noticed that I own a copy of Robocop 3 for SNES yesterday.... I was so confused, I swear I don't remember ever buying it. It's odd because I usually remember every single game I've ever bought. It seems so odd that I would buy it, but I guess I did.

Anyone else ever have this feeling?

MegaMan Battle Network

Decided to revisit this unusual RPG series. You play as a boy named Lan, who uses his Net Navi MegaMan to explore the internet. You give MegaMan battle chips, which provide specialized attacks when fighting enemies that you encounter in the random battles. I'm having quite a fun time with it, the ga...

Re: Why would a company not include an inversion option?

Wow, I never thought I'd find people who actually use the inversion option. I never saw the point of it, for me if you hit up you need to look up, and if you hit down you need to look down. Having stuff do the opposite just messes me up.

Re: Critic: Request For a Wario Land 4 Review (GBA)

I bought this game back when it was brand new, it's excellent. It has a beautiful art style, and I love the offbeat sense of humor the game offers. A game with this kind of humor and art feels very rare today. I didn't feel too much pressure during the timed escapes, the game is pretty forgiving on ...

Re: Survival Horror: Scary or Frustrating?

I absolutely agree with you. I have always wondered what the critic sees in Resident Evil. I love the B-movie style presentation of the game and want to love it, but just can't. The controls are incredibly frustrating to deal with, making me walk into zombies and have difficulty getting through door...

Re: Goldeneye (Nintendo 64)

I decided to fire this game up and play a few single player missions to see what I think of the critic's statements. Overall I would disagree. The action is fast and fun, and the game gives quite a bit of challenge. It's great fun to mow down a crowd of guys, and the destructible environments also a...

Re: 3D platform jumping

Hmm well considering I'm currently outnumbered by 5 people, I think I might have found the explanation for the decline of the number of platformers released to market. 3D platformers have always been one of the genres I've been the best at but I guess for most people it's not the easiest thing to ge...

Re: 3D platform jumping

I have grown up with these 3D platformers and never had this sort of issue. I can make the jumps in games like Mario 64 with little trouble. I usually don't have too many problems with the camera either. Usually if I have trouble making the jumps in a platform game, then I consider it to be a bad ga...
