Re: Sega - 15 years later

Maybe if Sega made the Dreamcast able to play DVD's and used DVD technology for their games. But the real question is, what would we have seen from them going up against the likes of the Wii or PS3 and Xbox 360? What would they have done to set them apart from those companies?

In Crash Bandicoot, you don't have a camera that you can adjust and there's no way to rotate your point of view. You could have also inspected the wall for a crack. If you found one, you could have just placed a bomb there and made a nice little passage inside.

Haha, I wonder if my deposit would have covered that?

Re: Classic Gaming Life Lessons

Here's what I learned from classic games:

Never go on game shows (Smash T.V.) because they will force you into brutal death matches

That eating chicken (Streets of Rage 2) will heal all injuries instantly

In boxing, it is legal to use magic (Mike Tyson's Punch Out)

Honestly, if you want better controls then you should try the Playstation, it generally has better controls.

Best 16 and 8-bit soudtracks

What are your favorite 16 and 8 bit game soundtracks? If possible, find an mp3 of that soundtrack and attach it to your reply. You can find soundtracks at http://www.emuparadise.me/soundtracks/index.php

What game system's lack of sucess shocked you?

Probably the Atari Lynx, it was a 16-bit backlit handheld that had color and could connect up to 16 units.

Re: Wolfenstein 3D for Sega Genesis hombrew.

Those raw Genesis sounds fit the game perfectly. The soundtrack is amazing. I imagine that it was pretty taxing for the Genesis to run that.
