https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbUinF-YpxA Pokemon Snap Speedrun. If you need to know what the game looks like here it is. I've assumed Dave never reviewed Pokemon Snap because he didn't like the franchise. It looks like he's only reviewed 3 Pokemon games. http://videogamecritic.com/search.htm?term...

Re: Photos of old arcade games

I do hope that mall's not torn down. I can't find any current info on it. :( Back to arcade games: http://www.pelikonepeijoonit.net/articles/an-arcade-trivia-game-powered-by-atari-st Here's something interesting; it's an Atari ST powered arcade cabinet, apparently designed to run a trivia game. Not ...

Re: Would you remove this Pac-Man sticker? (with Poll) And, how do you feel about upgrades and multicade machines?

It's not a bad looking sticker; it's just in the wrong spot. Personally, I'd leave it alone, as part of the machine's history. If you do decide to remove it you can always save it, put it in a book or glue it to a less-distracting spot.

And, yes, multicades made that way are heartbreaking.

Re: PC-50x Consoles

Atari was planning to release a Pong-on-a-chip-in-a-cart system: The Game Brain. http://www.atarimuseum.com/videogames/dedicated/gamebrain/ Obviously it would've used their own chips, not GI's. Apparently, the Epoch Cassette Vision could play both pong-on-a-chip games and ROM carts. http://www.video...

Any of the snow levels from Crash Bandicoot 2. The level of detail Naughty Dog was able to squeeze into that game is incredible. They even made reflective surfaces!

Compuserve Forums Closed

On Dec 15, same day as AIM. Compuserve's classic online service shut down a few years ago, but the forums survived on their website.

I'd been expecting this since DMOZ closed, since they're owned by the same company, but I didn't know it was already gone. :(

Re: Yooka Laylee (PS4)

Most of the negative reviews seem to hat the game for being what it's designed to be: a 3D platformer in the style of late 90's 3D platformers. Same problem the recent Crash Bandicoot remakes had. Honesty time: I never had a problem with late 90's 3D platformers. Alright, there was that one time I f...
