2015/3/13: Sega Master System: Penguin Land, Golvellius: Valley of Doom, Aerial Assault

Thanks for the SMS reviews. I've always been an SMS fan, and I think it's because my best friend in middle school had one, and we had a blast with it, particularly with Outrun, Choplifter, Astro Warrior, Gangster Town, and Phantasy Star, which really impressed me at the time.

I agree with...

2015/2/22: Turbografx-16: Bravoman, Darkwing Duck, Insanity

Bravoman is a surprisingly fun, weird little game. I find myself playing it more than I initially thought I would.

Colecovision Flashback Review

I'm definitely a fan of the Colecovision Flashback. It's got some really fun games, including some lesser known titles which are fun in their own right, such as Evolution, Fathom, and Wing War. It's also nice to now be able to play some rarer titles on a regular tv instead of my PSP emulator, such as...

2014/11/26: Atari 2600: Ram It, Spitfire Attack, Subterranea

Thanks for the reviews. Subterranea is actually one of my top 20 Atari 2600 games, and I find myself playing it fairly often. I know it's quite rare, but I actually found myself in possession of 2 copies of it at one point, although I traded one away for Double Dragon on the 7800. To me, it's anothe...

2014/9/30: Atari XEGS: Flying Ace, Fort Apocalypse, Dimension X

Fort Apocalypse is a fantastic classic computer game- a great combination if Choplifter, Super Cobra, and maybe some other games. I'm terrible at it, but it's still great fun.

Dimension X is cool to look at, but maybe not as great as a game.

You should review "Alley Cat" for 8-...

Mario Bros. Atari 5200 Vs XEGS

Overall, I prefer the Atari XEGS version. I prefer the sound of Atari 5200 version, and the "feel" of the XEGS version. For instance, I like the beginning of the game animation

2014/4/27: Atari XEGS: Micro League Baseball, Star League Baseball

Star League Baseball is a fun game, probably my second favorite on the Atari 8-Bit behind Hardball. Too bad RealSports Baseball wasn't released for it

2014/2/26: Atari 2600: Elevator Action, Elk Attack, Mogul Maniac

Elevator Action is a fun classic arcade game with some cool elements to it. I like how you can shoot out the lights- a fun little detail.

Mogul Maniac is a pretty good little ski game that was also released for Atari 8-bit computer. I wish I had a joyboard to play it with.

A Commodore 64 Game to Review

Starglider 2 (the sequel) was a real breakthrough for the time, with smooth, filled-vector polygon graphics and a tremendously large universe for the time. I have it for my Atari St computer. It was published a one of the only dual-format disks that worked on both the Atari ST and Commodore Am...
