Are gamers killing video games?

^+1 on what Weekend_Warrior said... and his name is fitting for that argument!

For me, I am a dad, husband, full-time worker who is 40 something, and my gaming time is very restrictive. Once I am done with everything, and if I am not too wiped out, the time for gaming is largely for "inst...

Reasons to consider PC gaming this generation.

Myself, I am a PC Gamer through and through, and find that upgrades on the PC tend to be cheaper, and make gaming far more enjoyable, than the upfront cost of the console gaming, plus the frustration of using the controls (I personally find that keyboard/mouse use to be far more preferable).
<b...

Return of the Typo Thread!

Addendum to the last post: you also used the word "disk" again in the very next review after the last one, this time in the Playstation 2 game Namco Museum 50th Anniversary. Perhaps this is something that should be looked into deeper.. maybe more incorrect usages of "disk" vs. "disc"?

Return of the Typo Thread!

It may seem like nitpicking, but...

In the Playstation 2 review of the Namco Museum, you incorrectly used the word disc... you spelled it "disk", like as in floppy disk.

Keep up the great reviews!

nVidia Shield price drop to $199

From the original $299 MSRP, this is a tempting deal!

http://www.theverge.com/gaming/2014/3/25/5544294/nvidia-shield-price-drops-to-199-for-a-limit...

Your favorite Colecovision game of all time.

For me, it was a tossup between Ladybug and Mouse Trap. Both are nearly arcade perfect translations, and even though I enjoyed a lot of other Colecovision games (Wargames, Zaxxon, and DK Jr all runner-ups), those two games were games I played relentlessly!

I have just bought a new console.

Curious.. maybe its just the video recording, but are the games all that choppy? If that's the case, the frame rates really suck on that setup.. perhaps underpowered? It would be interesting to see how something like the Ouya and the MadCatz Mojo, as well as the nVidia Shield would stack up against ...

2014/3/25: Arcadia 2001: Mobile Suit Gundam (Japan), Super Bug, Super Bug 2

[QUOTE=scotland17]Shoulda saved the Mobile Suit Gundam review for April 1st. I would have thought it was up there with Bioshock 2600 review.

And I agree with Logan about Gundam being well known from the source material rather than a video game. Its like a review of a...

So, what's your favorite bad port?

Who could forget Donkey Kong for the 2600? Just two screens, lots of flicker (especially with the fireballs on the second screen), and one weird looking monkey that would beat his chest left to right or vice versa, depending on which way you were facing. But, I played that game for months on end whe...

Mobile Site Suggestions Needed

Hmm. Odd. For whatever reason yesterday, only 2 tabs showed up on there, the Full Site and Feedback. Must've been a glitch when loading on my phone. I see all the tabs now, and it looks great!
