"our experts"

"our experts"

YOU GUYS are the experts!

I noticed whenever anybody posts a message it always gets a thoughtful answer - and usually not from me! People on these boards know a lot about games. You guys are extremely knowledgeable.

Do you have trouble with the playstation controller's button layout?

The only thing that bothers me about the Playstation button labels is that "triangle" is an awfully long word to yell out in the heat of the action. I remember my friend George and I were playing some game where we needed to hit buttons quick. He told me he was going to call it "Tri" ins...

7800 Vs. 5200

Does the 7800 really have higher res graphics? I don't think so. Both the 5200, 7800, and Atari 8-bit computers used the same chip set, so all of their games could play on each other (in theory). Besides being backward compatible with the 2600, the 7800 seemed like a step down to m...

Call of Duty 2 (Xbox 360)

Linkdude,
The one-player action is definitely on, but did you try the split-screen multiplayer? I did, and my friends and I had a really tough time finding each other. It kind of sucked.

Collect call!

I've collected a lot of things in the past: stamps, baseball cards, comic books. I still have most of these, and they're pretty worthless. The baseball cards especially turned out to be a complete waste. I don't even like baseball anymore! Now I only collect video games.
...

interesting things happen when you play games

Here's a good one. When they first came out with the vibration controllers for the PS1, I picked up one with Gran Turismo and didn't tell my friends. The first time they tried it they were like "what the hell?!" The effect was pretty amazing, especially when you rolled over t...

7/29/2006: Playstation 2: Capcom Fighting Evolution, Sonic Mega Collection Plus, Street Fighter Alpha Anthology

A little explanation is needed for these.

While reviewing a pile of 2D fighters, I reviewed Capcom Evolution again without realizing I already reviewed it last year! Fortunately, both reviews were almost the same, so I merged them to form this new, improved version.

As for So...

Sega CD Theme

[QUOTE=welcometoyourdoom]

If I remember correctly, there are actually two different tunes that play, one on the front-loader and another for the top loader/cdx.

You're right, and while they're both excellent, I think I favor the top-loader theme.
