NCAA 2007 College Football Review

[QUOTE=IronKnux]

When you say "sleazy", I think I and everyone else that has played this game can relate to you on that one... you accomplish your goals by "juicing" players, gambling, and sending hookers to your opponents room the night before the game. I guess the sleazy part is that even...

Hey Critic!

Not planning to change the format anytime soon - I think the current format's great. And unlike other sites - no ads to contend with.

I would like to add portable system reviews and controller reviews when I get a chance.

I'm open for suggestions.

Renting/Used

Before I started collecting classic games, I always bought new. But once I started getting the old stuff, I didn't have much of a choice. Now I don't mind buying used at all, as long as the game's clean and in good shape (I go over it with rubbing alcohol just in case). I'm not rea...

NCAA 2007 College Football Review

I just had two of my best friends review NCAA Football 07, and they gave it a "D" and a "D+". These guys happen to be HUGE football fans, and are very influential in my reviews.

I also have a review of Blitz: The League on the way. I like the arcade style of football it o...

Cleaning video game equipment

I recommend rubbing alcohol for controllers. It kills germs and drys quickly, minimizing any possible sticker damage. For tight areas I use cotton swabs.

"our experts"

YOU GUYS are the experts!

I noticed whenever anybody posts a message it always gets a thoughtful answer - and usually not from me! People on these boards know a lot about games. You guys are extremely knowledgeable.

Do you have trouble with the playstation controller's button layout?

The only thing that bothers me about the Playstation button labels is that "triangle" is an awfully long word to yell out in the heat of the action. I remember my friend George and I were playing some game where we needed to hit buttons quick. He told me he was going to call it "Tri" ins...

7800 Vs. 5200

Does the 7800 really have higher res graphics? I don't think so. Both the 5200, 7800, and Atari 8-bit computers used the same chip set, so all of their games could play on each other (in theory). Besides being backward compatible with the 2600, the 7800 seemed like a step down to m...

Call of Duty 2 (Xbox 360)

Linkdude,
The one-player action is definitely on, but did you try the split-screen multiplayer? I did, and my friends and I had a really tough time finding each other. It kind of sucked.
