Re: Terrified of a Digital Future

In terms of numbers, Netflix may "win" in terms of market share just because everybody has it. It's the same reason mobile games make the most money even if most are crap. But I think people who take their media seriously will always prefer ownership. I think the newfound popularity of vin...

Re: Games that would benefit from a Battle Royale mode?

Re: 2018/5/8: Playstation: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Re: Terrified of a Digital Future

For the record, I wouldn't characterize Netflix as taking away your ability to own movies on physical media. It's just a streaming service more comparable to television networks. Re: Barnes and Nobles and Amazon

This is a fascinating article. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. If you think about it, Amazon is in a position where it can pretty much put any retail sector out of business if they really wanted to. We've already seen it with books, games, and music. They've been trying to work their way in...

Re: Rodea: The Sky Solider (Wii U)

Terrified of a Digital Future

As many of you know, I am a physical media guy who activity resists the move to digital downloads. I discovered an article that explains why in a more eloquent way that I could come up with. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/03/soapbox_im_secretly_terrified_of_an_all-digital_gaming_future Though...

Great pic! Video games, booze, and a loyal dog - you are living the good life!
I personally haven't use my Switch out of its stand, but I'm really surprised how handy it's coming for people.
