Re: Photos of people playing home video games from way back

Due to the brightness of the label of the game, not to mention the paddles, and the fact that only one is holding the controller, I will assume they are playing Blackjack.

Sorry man, but my reasons for hating CT are simple. I won't get into them very deep because of forum rules, but half of my gun collection would be illegal there, sadly.

Uhm, how about BODY HARVEST? Could you imagine the possibilities when the game isn't forced onto a tiny N64 cartridge? More small areas to explore, more weapons, more epic boss battles, while still maintaining the adventure formula. THAT would sell me!

Re: Sega Genesis Classic Console (2016)

It might just be the sad reality that early 80's consoles, while pretty hot collectors topics 7 years ago, are now really undesired. The games are cheap, except for the most rare, or most popular. And clone systems probably won't do well anyway. Anything pre-NES, is sadly let out to dry. I suppose t...

Re: Sega Genesis Classic Console (2016)

I wish they had incorporated the cartridge slot into their Colecovision console, since working Colecovisions are a rare sight nowadays. It'd be so much easier to build up a good library without having the look for a replacement (I STILL AM!).

Re: Sega Genesis Classic Console (2016)

The audio is not "slightly" off by any means. In fact, the music on every game that I've seen is two steps DOWN. If you're using a windows PC, and have realtek audio manager, turn the karaoke dial up to +4. Then you'll see that amazingly, the music is accurate!

Oh, in which case that's a modified version of Sharp shot. Give it a look sometime!

Re: Video game ads, flyers, catalogs and stuff

I remember this one! I thought it was so cool getting games through cable, it was like a precursor to cloud gaming. It was so cool. Apparently, Playcable was discontinued because hooking up the module to a home PC actually allowed people to write games and run them on the Intellivision, so Mattel ac...
