Play Ocarina of Time 3D

I especially appreciate how conservative the remake is. They really strove to match the visual style of the original concept art for the game, something that Ocarina of Time 64 struggled to do because of the system's limited textures.

Nevertheless, I'm torn. I like console games a lot bette...

Two of my topics on this forum were deleted, for reasons unknown to me. One of them was a correction to the SNES and Genesis console reviews, clarifying that both of these consoles output RGB in addition to composite and S-video. The other was a comment on the Super Mario 3D Land review stating that...

Super Mario 3D Land

This game vomits 1ups at the player. I'm almost done with World 5 and I haven't felt a challenge yet. Does anyone else find this game to be way too easy?

RGB Output in consoles from the 80s and 90s

Well said, chrisbid. This is exactly how I set up my consoles. Another option for Americans is to find an RCA Dimensia TV from the mid 80's. Believe it or not, those sets have an SCART input on the back (which is called EIA multiport or something like that). Yet another option is to buy a European C...

RGB Output in consoles from the 80s and 90s

Dear Video Game Critic,

I just wanted to point out that many consoles from the 80s and 90s support RGB output natively in addition to S-Video and Composite. I personally run my Sega Genesis/CD and Sega Saturn in RGB...

Number of games released for the Dreamcast

Dear Video Game Critic,

I noticed that in your review of the Dreamcast, "250+" is the number of games listed as having been released for the console. I think this estimate is too low. Wikipedia puts the estimate at 720 titles in all (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sega_Dreamcast_games...
