Re: Bugs Bunny Double Trouble (Genesis)

Oh dear. I found this on my shelf and realized I had not reviewed it yet. I was pretty excited to play it, but it is the absolute worst. I can only surmise the over-complicated stages were designed by a bunch of executives sitting in a conference room. Absolutely miserable game. Which game do you t...

Re: Bugs Bunny Double Trouble (Genesis)

I just got done playing this game for the first time. And it'll be the last time I'll sit down and play it. Simply put, it's a mess. It's utterly mind boggling as to why most of the games based on characters from the classic Warner Brothers cartoons ended up being so terrible. And quite frankly, it'...

Re: River Raid (Atari 2600)

This was one of the few video games my father would actually sit down and play. And he was pretty good at it too.

Re: River Raid (Atari 2600)

Gotta love blowing up a fuel barge AFTER taking all of its fuel! That's cold. That's the best part of the entire game. Especially when you approach said fuel barge when you have next to no fuel and you're about to die. Nothing like cheating death for a few moments just so you can blow up more helic...

Re: RBI Baseball 2 (NES)

Great game. And the third was even better. Next to Baseball Stars and the first Bases Loaded, this has to be one of my favorite NES baseball games. Just a lot of fun. And it still holds up today.

Re: Bases Loaded 2 (NES)

The thing that spoiled this game for me was that they changed the fielding perspective from the usual view used in most baseball games to that side on perspective. I never could get used to it, which made fielding the most routine of ground balls and throwing to the correct base an exercise in frust...

Does anybody know why the 32X had to have it's own power adapter?

Love that retro lok with the wood grain finish and all that. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for this for sure.

Re: What Franchises Need to Return

I'd love to see Toe jam and Earl come back again at some point in time. I remembering sinking a lot of hours into both of the games that were available on the Genesis. Especially the second one. I still play that one from time to time and it still hold up today in my mind.
