Re: Bases Loaded 2 (NES)

The thing that spoiled this game for me was that they changed the fielding perspective from the usual view used in most baseball games to that side on perspective. I never could get used to it, which made fielding the most routine of ground balls and throwing to the correct base an exercise in frust...

Re: DF Retro's Failed Consoles: Sega 32X - We Play Every Game part 1 and 2!

Does anybody know why the 32X had to have it's own power adapter?

Re: What Franchises Need to Return

I'd love to see Toe jam and Earl come back again at some point in time. I remembering sinking a lot of hours into both of the games that were available on the Genesis. Especially the second one. I still play that one from time to time and it still hold up today in my mind.

As far as I know, there was never a sequel for Kid Icarus on any of the consoles that Nintendo released after the NES. A shame, really, as that was a really good game. Tough, but good.

Re: First album, artist, or group that rocked your world

I was listening to a lot of hard rock around the time Radiohead's In Rainbows album came out. When I heard "House of Cards" I was instantly blown away. So much so that I went and listened to the entire catalog. They've been my favorite band ever since. If you don't mind me asking, what ba...

Re: Atariage Games

Always nice to see developers continuing to make games for these consoles. And not only that, it looks as if they're really pushing hte capabilities of these consoles to their absolute limits, going by the game play footage I've seen of these games. On a personal note, I'd love to give Panky the Pan...

Re: Replacing Cartridge Batteries

A quick question: Is there any way to replace a dead battery in a Sega Genesis cart? Specifically the ones in Electronic Arts/ EA Sports games? I have a few EA sports titles in which the batteries inside have bit the dust, and I'm wondering if it's possible to replace/fix them without damaging the ...

Re: First album, artist, or group that rocked your world

Incubus--make yourself drew me in, but morning view made me a super fan. Which one of those albums had the song "Drive" on it? They played the video for that one a lot on much music back in the day. I didn't like it at first, but whenever I hear the song played on the radio these days, I ...

First album, artist, or group that rocked your world

For me, it would have to be Def Leppard's Pyromania. It was the summer of 1988 and I remember borrowing my Aunt's cassette copy of the album, thinking that it had the song "Pour Some Sugar on Me", which was a huge hit on radio at the time. I had no idea what album it was on or how many the...
