Re: End of Xbox?

I am not a fanboy nor do I believe consoles are superior but I CAN say that I do believe.. That Microsoft's heart isn't in it anymore and that they should just concentrate on making more Windows for PC's. 8-) 8-) I want to second this... get rid of Cortana, stop trying to copy Apple, and make a mod...

Re: End of Xbox?

Microsoft exclusives "mostly" end up available for the PC market as well. I had a choice: Killer Instinct on Xbox or on Steam. Chose Steam, got the full game, no gimmicks, all the DLC on sale for $30. One download, it is done. Plays well on my Laptop and has full Xbox Controller support. ...

Re: A Plan for a New National TV Programming Service Dedicated to News

We need more journalism done right in this country. The place has gone completely to hell. I feel that educating is the only real answer... but maybe we're too far gone to fix it. At least people are trying to get some objective truth out there.

Re: Halloween Review Special

This review made me curious about Crypt Killer. I've been loving my saturn collection lately and really wish I had more gun games... there are currently 2 available on ebay and they're both over 100 dollars! That does seem pretty pricey for a game that looks more like playing through a terrible B mo...

Re: 2017/9/26: Nintendo 64: Paperboy

I never knew this existed. The review sheds like on an undiscovered turd. PB was and interesting game. A new take on the isometric genre. In the arcades it had the gimmick of the handle bars. Remember when Atari were back and better than ever? This game looks totally trash. So thanks for the warnin...

Re: Good Computer?

Ok... many people aren't talking about the basics. When you're talking about a gaming computer, the most basic things are this: Operating system, RAM, and video card. Get the basics down and you can make a computer for genuinely pretty cheap and over a period of time. First off, what type of gaming ...

Re: Question on the Sega Saturn vs the Sega Dreamcast library?

I agree with the Saturn being a sort of hidden gem old system. It has aged like fine wine to me personally. While my ps2 gets more play still because it can play both PS1 and 2 games, I've been finding myself gravitating away from the ps1 era of RPGs. I'm finding myself enjoying shining force III mo...

Re: What Franchises Need to Return

*ahem* Battletoads. That game could potentially be amazing in modern 3d. A beat 'em up platform racer with a variety of levels like the old game could do very, very well.

Re: Question on the Sega Saturn vs the Sega Dreamcast library?

I'm going to side squarely on the 'Saturn' side of this for my own personal taste. I know that my personal Saturn collection is far, far superior to my dreamcast collection, so take that as a disclaimer. While the graphics and the sound are absolutely better on the dreamcast, and there are absolutel...
