Re: I think I'm a one console gamer

I have all my systems either chained together RF wise or on the AV switcher, so changing between systems isn't complicated. My Dreamcast and N64 probably get the least play, (Wait... take that back. It's the Wii. Don't even have that hooked up currently) while the SNES and the PS2 get the most. (GC ...

Re: Best decade for television?

Great topic! And honestly I'm going to go with more recent, like 2005 and beyond. That time frame is when many shows started becoming genuinely intelligent. The Office, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, etc. The storylines have gotten much better compared to olde...

Re: New Sega Genesis beat 'em up: Paprium

Man... I really miss the genesis. Nice to see homebrews keeping these systems somewhat alive and vibrant.

Re: The NES or the Cartridge?

If you open it, it might be something like this: Nintendo-NES-Tetris-Cartridge-Board.jpg Looking at a list, this game is one of those with an MMC-1 chip (the board is labeling the small chip up top as MMC-1) to help boost what the console can do. So, I think your cartridge is just fine. Thanks, it ...

Re: The NES or the Cartridge?

Alright, update: Cleaned the heck out of the cartridges, and they both "Stabilized" right away. There wasn't any auto-resetting, but the graphical/performance glitches were the same. Cleaning the system itself out/replacing the pin connector appears to be the next step. I did notice that D...

Re: 2017/3/16: Saturn: Fighting Vipers, Bulk Slash (Japan)

Now I know what you are talking about, but then again the game was made in Japan, and it is common in the world of Anime/Manga/Japanese made Video Games etc. Yes.... common and very unhealthy and sexist. Asian cultures are incredibly sexist, China has a major female infanticide problem. (2nd only t...

Re: Movies You Like That No One Else Does

The 2003 Hulk movie directed by Ang Lee, which I even prefer to 2008's The Incredible Hulk . Whereas the latter movie plays things too safe and doesn't have any real standout moments, Ang Lee's take on the character is a fairly unique specimen of a movie. A lot of people dislike it due to not havin...

Re: 2017/3/16: Saturn: Fighting Vipers, Bulk Slash (Japan)

The camera's looking right up her skirt at a little bit of panty and a lot of skin. It's a textbook example of one of anime's most off-putting tropes. It's creepy, fetishistic voyeurism. I'm done talking about this now. Ugh. Now I know what you are talking about, but then again the game was made in...

The NES or the Cartridge?

Hello everyone, I have an issue I need some expert advice on. I have an old NES that came into my wife's thrift store with a few games, and I can't get either of the games I have to work on it. I have Mickey Mousecapades and Dusty's All Star Softball. Both of these games do slightly different things...
