2012/8/2: Super Nintendo: Castlevania Dracula X, Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues

It sucks that I saw Dracula X for $10 at a local video game shop and didn't get it. I didn't reacquire my SNES yet and I did not know this game was going for big bucks like its Turbografx/PC Engine cousin.

Toughest game you've beaten

I don't know if there is a similar thread but what is the toughest game you have ever beat?

For me it is a toss up between Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom for NES or Revenge of Shinobi for Genesis. NG III was made tougher for the US with limited continues and you took more dama...

2012/6/22: Neo Geo: Overtop (MVS), Rally Chase (CD), Thrash Rally

Rally Chase/Thrash Rally is fun but it is so tough to get first. I can get first on the beginning track but after that it is tough.

Neo Drift Out is another Neo Geo racing title to look out for. It is an overhead rally racer. Very expensive though and only available on MVS and CD.

Alwa...

Jurassic Park 3: Island Attack (GBA)

If you can find yourself a Hori Game Boy Player Controller you'd be in business. It is built like an SNES controller and it is really cool to have. It was only released in Japan though and they can be a little expensive. I bought mine for $50 and that is probably the most reasonable price I could fi...

Super Magnetic Neo (Dreamcast)

This is an interesting platformer for the Dreamcast. The game has a whimsical Japanese flavor, the main villain is a two year old! The game also has a good sense of humor. I've only played the first world but so far I've had a lot of fun though people who have played this game say it gets extremely ...

The Games of Summer?

Beach Spikers for Gamecube is an appropriate game for Summer. I also think Street Hoop for the Neo Geo is another fun Summer game and there is even a court on the beach.

Next Playstation and Xbox will have optical drives

I think it is funny that the excuse for not being download only is not because people would not want a console like that but that internet speed is not fast enough in some countries. Give me a break. I know that if consoles move into download only territory, I'll stop buying and I think the big thre...

Deathsmiles IIX Question

I searched and it is not region free. There are several shoot'em ups on the 360 that are region free though. - http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-...

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition (Wii)

Thought I'd play through this again. I'm trying to beat this on professional difficulty. I can see why the Critic was not impressed with the controls. Aiming with the Wii Remote is nice but having to look around with the control stick instead of the Wii Remote can be a little annoying, especially wh...
