Re: 2017/5/11: Nintendo Switch: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Bomberman R

I can't for the life me understand the appeal of Mario Kart. Track design is cool, graphics are great but the game is just slow to me (I owned it for the WiiU). Plus it is the same old tired game design....win four races for the gold! Rinse and repeat. This is just a tired racing game from the 90's,...

Re: Switch off to a strong start

Pump the brakes folks. There are those Nintendo fans that will buy ANYTHING..remember as bad as the Wii U was 13 million people still bought it. I mean Nintendo could sell figures that do virtually nothing but sit on your desk or shelf and collect dust and people would still buy them (oh wait, THAT ...

Re: Xbox Generations

The original Xbox broke Microsoft into the console market in style, and the 360 put them on the top of the heap. Microsoft overplayed their hand of course, leading to a pretty dismal showing for the Xbox One so far. Now they are trying to "change the rules" of console gaming, by introduci...

Re: Best Buy ticket system?

So I read that Nintendo sold 2.3 million NES classics. 2.3 million, that's it????? What a joke. Obviously this was not a money maker for them otherwise they could have produced a few million more to see the demand. What is funny that without even trying I have had numerous chances to buy a Switch al...

Re: Best Buy ticket system?

Ya its too bad I thought the NES classic would be cool. I will not even bother with the SNES Classic. I just don't understand why Nintendo cannot produce enough of these things. Even on the high side I would guess that they sold about 3 million of these things? Crazy stupid.

Best Buy ticket system?

So my wife was kind of enough to run over to our local Best Buy yesterday in hopes of grabbing a NES classic. She was about 8th in line but when she got in the stock was given away to customers who already had "tickets". Does anybody have any idea how this works? I would think that tickets...

Re: Got a Nintendo Switch!

I have heard reports that the Switch warps if you leave it in the dock too long. I guess a device that gets heated doesn't enjoy being in a closed case for too long. Go figure! I am really interested in what you have to say Critic. I am interested in this but they need many more games. I am already ...

Re: R.I.P. NES Classic (Thanks, Nintendo!)

I really wanted one of these but was unwilling and unable to spend time going from store to store at all hours of the day. Nintendo is clueless.

Re: The Boxes

This is a great thread. Before I got a 2600 I can remember staring at the box art every chance I got whenever I was near a Sears or some other department store. I love the box art from the 70's and 80's and don't even get me started on the manuals!
