Re: Nintendo Is Being a Little Too Quiet

Lol. I can’t help but chuckle. Everyone is always telling Nintendo what they should do. I think they are doing alright for themselves. Lol. That they are but they are not perfect. Wii U anyone? What a flop. The Switch is hot but it is all about the games and it will be interesting if its success co...

Re: Nintendo Is Being a Little Too Quiet

I have to admit there are no Switch titles on the horizon that have me excited. I'd be psyched about the upcoming ports, except I was on board with Nintendo during the Wii U days, so it's all old to me. Speaking of ports...I missed out on the Donkey Kong game (tropical freeze) so I am going to chec...

Re: Early to Mid 1995

Correction...I didn't play Chopper Command on the C-64...it was Choplifter! Which by the way was a great game for the C-64!

Re: Early to Mid 1995

Great, great article. What the hell were these people thinking. Of course this is Sam Tramiel (spelled?), son to Jack Tramiel the CEO of Commodore. I love the spin he puts on regarding the Jaguar CD. Of course everybody will buy it because just about everyone who owned a C-64 bought a Disk Drive. No...

Re: Super Retrocade Review

It’s only *some* games with the audio issues. I’ve tried a different HDMI cable and tried different ports on the TV. Guess I’ll try it with a capture device to verify that it’s not the TV. Other people on Amazon reported similar issues, so it could be a hardware revision. Mystic Riders runs smoothl...

Re: Times the VGC steered you right... or wrong

Great topic! I have definitely been influenced by the VGC to by this or that game over the years. Steered Right: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Switch. It's a good game I may have overlooked. Like most Nintendo titles, I think the VGC over rates them a bit but it is a solid B+ title. Fun two player mod...

Re: Governments do not like loot boxes!

This is one of the consequences of online gaming. Companies have turned "pay to play" into "gamble to win". Greed conquers all. You know game companies actually have to make MONEY to stay in business. I think this is the consequence of hefty development costs. While watching the...

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn's Stealth SUCKS!

I loved this game! I enjoyed he combat and the mission variety. I didn't have a problem at all with the stealth missions which is odd because I usually do!

Re: BOTW Ending...are you kidding me? (Spoilers)*

All I know is that was one of the few games in probably the last 4-5 years that I actually thought about constantly while I wasn't playing it. I kept thinking what was over the next hill, on my next play I'd go after that shrine in the distance, tackle the tower, get annoyed by the rain, etc. There...
