5th gen what ifs?

My what ifs are, what if AVP was available at launch for the Jaguar. And, what if N64 was released a year earlier.

What are the Wii's advantages over the competition

I may have been a little insensitive in my last post. I just haven't had an outlet to vocal my displeasure with the Wii, and I just went off. It did feel good though.

What are the Wii's advantages over the competition

Considering that I have a Wii and have only 2 games (1 being Wii Active) with no desire to browse their vast library of scintilating titles, I can't think of a damn thing. The comment about it being similar to GC really struck a cord with me, I think whoever said that is right. The graphics ...

2011/5/22: Atari XEGS: Pitstop, Questprobe featuring The Hulk, Superman the Strategy Game

I propose a new rule: at least one of the games you review has to be good!

There are alot of dregs in the Atari 8-bit library, but so many great games, too. Steering us away from garbage is a worthy service, directing us to gold, even better!

These games bring back painful ...

5th Gen Love

I agree with Samuel. My lasting image of the 6th generation is PS2 games with humans walking like robots. Did anyone else hate that? C'mon who are you trying to fool. The one good thing about 6th gen was the GC. The graphics were way better than PS2, Mario Sunshine is just amazing, terribly under...

5th Gen Love

About my so called "Nintendo 64" problem. I'll make myself clear I love the N64 and me criticizing it is like critizing your best friend, being like lose weight or something, or quit smoking. Goldeneye,Mario 64,MK64,Banjo, are incredible games and I couldn't live without them. Of course, being th...

5th Gen Love

It's my favorite generation too. Add the Jaguar and 3do. You have 5 consoles with something for everyone. I like 5th the most because the 3d games were the least complicated and difficult games of 3d era. I love 3d, just simple 3d. The less buttons the better. And don't give me games where it tak...

The all time worst console ever made?

First, I'm almost certain Tomb Raider was released by Playstation first, I remember renting it in 1996, and I'm also willing to bet that it blows the Saturn version away. As far as the Jaguar with its so called substantial library of mediocre ports, and lack of first party games. Battlemorph, Iro...

Oh no, I like 3D!

Alienblue makes a lot of great points about 3d. I also have mixed feelings about 3d. And I'm going to say the biggest reason. I've never posted this but I talk about it with my friends. 3d's biggest downfall is 3d itself. What made all of the old systems so great (and you should collect as many o...
