2015/2/11: Sega CD: Wolfchild, Jaguar XJ220, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Always great to see new Sega CD reviews!

I put some time into Wolfchild a while ago, and enjoyed it for awhile, but eventually ran into an elevator sequence that seemed almost impossible to pass unless I was fully powered-up (and I wasn't).

Top Players' Tennis & Racket Attack (NES)

Just finished Top Players' Tennis and have started up with Racket Attack. Both are NES tennis games, and have a fair bit in common, e.g.:

both have weird player movement that feels like you're on ice

both mainly use the timing of the swing, rather than the D-pad, to direct your ...

2015/2/6: Playstation 4: NHL 15

Sounds like a nice-looking but underwhelming game!

Reader Voting Stats

I prefer the way things are. As others have noted, "popular" has positive connotations, and something value-neutral is better.

The 8-bit Home Computer Users Thread

I have a CoCo 2, CoCo 3, Commodore 64, and TI-99/4A. Unfortunately none of them see much action, though I grew up with the CoCo 2/3 and it's the dearest to my heart of the bunch.

I also have the Intellivision ECS expansion, though that's really not much of a computer. Its main value, espe...

Let's Talk RCA Studio II

No, I don't have Bingo. I know what a white whale that one is. My wife's father didn't work for RCA, so I imagine he had the Studio II simply as an early adopter or out of technical curiosity.

I'm gl...

Let's Talk RCA Studio II

Oddly enough I have a handful of games for the Studio II -- mysterious heirlooms from my wife's late father, who was a programmer. They showed up in the family home out of nowhere, but we weren't able to find the console. I don't know if I can quite bring myself to buy one, especially given...
