2014/12/26: Sega CD: Demolition Man, Wirehead

Wow, I'm shocked that you hated Wirehead so much! My wife and I enjoyed it quite a bit (though the lack of a savegame function is irritating), and in general it seems to be one of the more well-regarded FMV games. It even has a few clever design elements, e.g. options that flash on the screen very b...

Colecovision Flashback Review

Something really weird happened to the link in the OP -- it's badly broken. The sidebar link is fine, though.

If only the controllers were pin-compatible with the originals, especially the CV controllers! What a shame.

New one: in the Milon's Secret Castle review, "unorthodox" is spelled incorrectly.

Quick thoughts on a few NES reviews

I agree with some of the VGC's NES reviews, disagree with others, and that's fine. But the one review that desperately needs a re-do is <strong>Destination Earthstar </strong>-- not because I don't agree with the grade, but because it completely ignores the side-scrolling shmup half of the game!<br ...

What FMV 'Interactive Movies' would you have in your Sega Mega CD Collection ?

I'll throw in another recommendation for Wirehead, which I played through with my wife and liked a lot. The lack of a save function is a drag, but otherwise it's great fun. We also enjoyed Panic a great deal. Mansion of Hidden Souls was easy, but pleasant.<br /><br />Fahrenheit was fun to figur...

2014/11/26: Atari 2600: Ram It, Spitfire Attack, Subterranea

Awesome! All three reviews seem balanced and thoughtful, though the only one of these I've played much is Ram It. I've always coveted the special controllers used for Spitfire Attack and Survival Run.

CBS version of Victory for Colecovision

I just wanted to second this post (seeing as it never got any replies). A re-review, using/comparing the CBS version, would be a great idea.

2014/11/19: 3DO: Virtuoso, Strahl

Awesome! So glad to see these finally come up. I'm surprised that you like Virtuoso as much as you do, but reading the review, it makes sense.<br /><br />I second JLH's list, especially Captain Quazar and Out of This World, and would add a few more suggestions:<br /><br />Crime Patrol<br />Cyberdill...

Some errors on the front page:

- "provacative" (sp),
- the games Tetris 3D (Virtual Boy) and Donkey Kong Country 3 (SNES) are listed as Coming Attractions, but have already been reviewed.
