Ultimate NES Remix (3DS)

I've been very iffy about this game since it was first released on Wii U last year. The reviews were good, but the impression that I got was that it was meh. Well, I'm happy to admit that my impression was wrong! The game takes bite-sized fragments from a handful of NES games and transforms them int...

What did you get for Christmas?

I kept all of my purchases/gifts digital and portable: -Steamworld Dig (eshop sale): what an AWESOME game! I can't wait for Steamworld Heist! -VVVV (eshop): very short, but oh so sweet! A game with no filler! -Mega Man II and III (eshop game boy sale): these games have aged horribly, and downloading...

Unreleased Games You Wanted to Play

A big one for me was Pit Fighter 2 for the Genesis. The game had, if I recall , six selectable fighters! Sadly, the only info I ever saw on it was a two page spread in a 1993 issue of EGM! Other than that, I was also excited for: -Sadness (Wii) -Final Fantasy VII (before it made the move to Playstat...

Afterburner Climax being delisted

Except in AfterBurner Climaxs case there's no sales to be had anyway...
Don't forget, though, that this is the same guy who had a problem with people tampering with their Wii's so they could import a PURCHASED copy of Xenoblade because, at the ti...

Afterburner Climax being delisted
May I recommend buying Sky Crawlers Innocent Aces for Wii instead of his game?

And there is never a time to root for piracy.....smh.
You may, but as somebody who has played both, Afterburner destroys Sky Crawlers....at least in my humble opinion.

What did you think of Black Friday for games?

I personally refuse to take part. There are six days where I refuse to leave the house for anything but family gatherings: Thanksgiving, the day after, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day. Actually, I won't go out on 12-26 either. Holidays are sacred to me, and I refuse to cheapen them...

What are your favorite consoles/systems?

1). Hands down the original DS! This quickly became my all-time favorite system, due to an insane selection of quality games! The Phoenix Wright series, Contra 4, the Dragon Quest/Final Fantasy remakes, Retro Game Challenge, GTA Chinatown Wars, Radiant Historia, the trilogy of great Castlevania game...

Nintendo's quality output as a third-party developer
Well, look how much the game industry has changed since SEGA's hey day. Games require much more staff, and therefore require much better management, if you want content, originality, and quality.

Nintendo is far and away the best manged company, with the deepest and mos...

Nintendo's quality output as a third-party developer

There are a few more things to take into consideration: -with very few exceptions, Nintendo has always created their consoles to be very controller centric. How fluid would Mario 64 be had Nintendo gone the route of the competition and stuck to a d-pad? Would Wii Sports be anything more than a barga...
