Colecovision Flashback Review

I was thinking of buying one... but there is no vendor in Canada that I'm aware of, so to get one, I'm stuck with the likes of eBay or Amazon plus exorbitant shipping rates to Canada.

With shipping, the cheapest one I can find on eBay is $60 US.

Farewell, Windows XP

I have a 5-year old Toshiba laptop running XP. It works great, and I use this system for emulators. I don't see a need to upgrade, but I may eventually buy a new Win laptop.

Amazon fire TV launches

I can see this doing alright, though I don't think Microsoft or Sony have much to fear for a while.
It looks to me like an Ouya-type device but with Amazon's infrastructure and marketing behind it.
I could see buying one, but I think $140 for system with controller is a a bit much.

Time for companies to raise prices on games?

I buy my games on sale for as cheap as possible.  Even if a game were great, why pay $60 or $80 when you can wait until next year and buy it for half the price?

Atari Flashback 4 Deluxe Edition

I've also read that AA thread.  I would think that although the Intellivision clone would have access to most of the Mattel "in house" games library, the Colecovision would have a lot more problems.  A lot of the Coleco's best games were conversions of various arcade games, and I wonder ju...

The Advantages Of Cartridges Over CDs: A Look Back At An Old Thread

Alright - how well will your Saturn be working in another 20+ years from now?

Honestly, I think most cart-based systems will last longer simply because they have no moving parts.

The Advantages Of Cartridges Over CDs: A Look Back At An Old Thread

I have an Atari 2600 and an Odyssey 2 from 1978 that both work flawlessly.

I wonder how many PS4s and Xbox Ones will still be working in 2050!

Your favorite Colecovision game of all time.

Pepper II.  For some reason I really like that game, and I don't think it was released for any other platform.
