Goldeneye (N64)

At this point, the best part is probably the main theme. That guitar is still awesome:

I'm interested to see how Perfect Dark performs on an emulator considering it needs that expansion pak thingy.

Goldeneye (N64)
combining the two just feels very cheap and more often then not it comes down to luck rather then skill
Bond takes bullets like a tank and regenerates health. As long as you keep moving and take advantage of the auto-aim, there you go, its not hard, no fake difficulty, none...

The growing generation gap???
I have to agree with Vexer, those are some pretty big generalizations. I mean, if you're going to say that kids enjoy crap, then teenagers also enjoy crap, based on how popular the godawful Blood On The Dance Floor is with that demographic, and adults also enjoy crap. After all, ...

Goldeneye (N64)
Pacguy19- Well I care, because I didn't find it fun and that was mainly because of how poorly it aged. The main problem more then anything else is the fake difficulty, because enemy placements are completely different each time you play through a level and constantly respawn, beat...

Goldeneye (N64)
My feelings on this game are meh, I might've been more impressed had I played it when it originally came out, but ultimately I feel it has not aged well at all.
Somehow that doesn't concern me. Who cares if something ages badly, is it fun?

Besides, how else do yo...

Blowing on your NES cartridges - silly or sound?
It's well established now that rubbing alcohol applied with a q-tip/cotton bud is the best technique, but the blowing technique undoubtedly worked. I would avoid doing so now of course, as I am more interested in preserving my collection, but to treat it as some sort of urban myth i...

Goldeneye (N64)

It does take a bit of time to get used to the controls (and I'm playing this on a Wii with a GameCube controller so it's all just confusing) but the game makes it a bit easier with the auto-aim. Most of the time though, I can't stand shooters with a controller.

I'm not sure you can compar...

Goldeneye (N64)

I had never played this one because I don't own an N64, but I figured emulators have improved since that time I tried it in 2008 and ended up in DirectX hell so I used one of those.

I don't think I need to tell people how good it is, we all know. One thing that astounds me though is that ...

2014/7/13: Playstation 3: Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest, Sorcery, Wonderbook: Book of Spells

Motion controls are silly. Never once did I feel like I was doing what was on screen. Usually, motion controls are too inaccurate and simplified to create whatever sense of immersion they were supposed to. Gimmicky game design doesn't help either.

My Wii is getting far more use as an emul...

Blowing on your NES cartridges - silly or sound?

Your breath ends up corroding the contacts over time. Cleaning the cart properly (with rubbing alcohol) works far better.
