Re: Can a game suck no matter how technically well-made it is?

Grand Theft Auto IV was recently added to Backwards Compatibility, but I recently got on my dad's Xbox 360 because mine died, and tried to get back into GTA V. We all can agree that aspects of the fourth game hadn't aged well, but in all honesty I cannot get back into Grand Theft Auto V. It's three ...

Re: Any fans of "Awesome Games Done Quick"?

Re: Conflict of Interest?

It's the same way with review sites who give glowing reviews for Apple products when they have similar issues that competing brands got average to low scores over.

Why ever face the facts when you can feed your family?

Re: 2017/1/1: Wii U: Super Mario Maker, Mighty No. 9

I think, by the pure arrogance and then apathy of Might No. 9's development team, plus their cancerous attitude towards concerned project backers makes the grade a little too generous. But, its your site, your rules your opinion. I wish someone else with more passion and business ethic could have de...

When I was like sixteen or whatever I was getting one of those LEGO Star Wars bundles and, lucky me, one of the discs had that read error that carried on over from the PS2 version. Grumble.

I'll never forget the New Years school break that ended my (second) Xbox 360. Grumble.

Re: Super Mario Run (mobile)

The always-online thing reeks of complacency, Nintendo should stay away from smartphone gaming.

Re: Do not watch Ghostbusters 2016!

Who wants to watch a feminist soapbox when Melissa and Leslie had one on Twitter? Because what happened on Twitter is any indication of why this reboot was made in the first place.

Re: Nintendo NX Update

So, after much perspective thought and deliberation: I think Nintendo could change the state of mobile gaming. I'm not going to pretend this is a likelihood in all cases, but if Nintendo markets this aggressively enough (which they desperately need to) and the third party support is kept healthy it ...

Re: Nintendo NX Update

I think this is the ugliest console ever to exist outside the realm of really awful chinese knockoffs, but I think the modularity and versatility makes up for it. Now about those cartridges...

Re: Games That Need Sequels/Reboots/Remakes Thread 2: Electric Boogaloo

I think Bully 2 has a lot of material in this digital era to be a real thing. We've got a farce of an election, a bunch of politically correct man-children, teenagers confused about their identity, and schools are becoming more connected to smart devices. BULLY was the perfect childhood simulator, i...
