Re: NFL Blitz (N64)

I have a lot of found memories of the Blitz game on the PS1. I have never played the N64 version. I remember that I didn't have a memory card large enough to save my data on competition mode because it took so many save blocks, so I had to to play through the entire 3-4 hour season in one session. T...

Re: Where are all the games?

I'd have to agree that digital games have probably made a large impact on retailers' gaming departments. The sad part is that it isn't just the video game sections, but movies, music, and anything else that people can get digitally. The day that gaming goes solely digital will be the day I stop coll...

Re: Why did the NES do so well in the US

I think the NES being packaged as a toy was a huge reason why the console did so well. Throw in SMB/Duck Hunt and boom, Nintendo revived the market. Obviously there was more to it then that, but I think those were some of the biggest reasons.

Re: Final Fantasy XIII-2 for PS3 and 360

Once again, nice review. It was nice that you didn't give away any spoilers and I liked your in depth details about the game. I think it's probably too late about not buying the DLC though... I wish this trend would stop but apparently it makes money because everyone seems to be doing it nowadays. A...

Re: 2015/4/24: Jaguar: NBA Jam Tournament Edition

Awesome review, thanks. NBA Jam is one of the few sports titles I like and I think it has aged incredibly well. I have never played the Jaguar version but I own the Sega CD, Genesis, and SNES versions. The SNES is by far my favorite but this one looks really good as well.

Re: How much has your VG hobby cost you?

It's kind of a scary thought to try and do the math. I have over 1700 games currently. Even if I grossly undervalued my collection and said each game was worth 5 dollars I'd still come to 8500 dollars. Since I have many rare titles worth more than a current Xbox one or ps4 it probably shoots up to a...

Re: Cost of Mandatory installs on the PS4

that sounds incredibly annoying... Considering I usually have at least 30+ games on a console eventually, that is an annoying feature.

Re: New Forums Open for Business!

I made some minor changes the other day to narrow the forum window a bit, but a user contacted me with a screenshot showing that the screen was only taking up the left half on his iphone. So I changed the sizing back. Please let me know if you discover any other issues as a result of my tinkering. ...

Re: 2015/4/21: Xbox One: Forza Horizon 2

Man... DLC and micro transactions are a huge bummer. I hate the fact that games try to nickle and dime you after you bought the game for full price...
