Re: Favorite sitcoms

Arrested Development hands down. I've seen a lot of TV and that's the one show that keeps me laughing almost constantly.

Re: I feel the GameCube is vastly overrated.

Complaing about a lack of internet capability seems unfair, or at least any online gaming I did then was on PC. Oddly enough, I'm one of the few who used the Gamecube primarily as an online gaming platform. I played Phantasy Star Online from 2002 (when it was released) until 2005, not long before t...

Re: I feel the GameCube is vastly overrated.

I thought Blue Storm was pretty good. The Gamecube was actually more powerful then the PS2 in some ways. The Gamecube was actually significantly more powerful than the PS2 and arguably the Xbox as well, although differences in architecture and lack of benchmark software make it hard to quanitfy. It...

Re: Modern Gaming Headaches

It gets better. Had to select an profile to play Rory McIlroy Golf and it prompts me to enter my email password! WTF? I immediately took the console offline to avoid that garbage. Were you signed in with your gamer profile? I had Mortal Kombat X prompt me for the same information but it turns out i...

Re: Modern Gaming Headaches

There is actually an Xbox One with a 1 TB drive being sold right now. I don't get why people are comparing the Xbox One and PS4 to PC and calling them less powerful PCs, I don't really see the comparisons, consoles are still a very different animal. Tron-Giving advice is somehow offensive? that mak...

Re: 2015/7/16: 3DO: Plumbers Don't Wear Ties

Isn't the whole game available via youtube or something? It really doesn't have any actual gameplay other than clicking here or there so I could see someone moving the game online. Here's a link to the "Youtube version." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjMAG5IDnek Unfortunately, some of t...

I want to know too. Are you just going to resell it or keep it?

Hopefully he saved himself the headache (and the cash) and just burned the game to CD-ROM. It's quite easy for 3DO games.

Re: The Evil within

Oh boy--I could go on and on about this game. First off, let me assist you with the chainsaw guy. First, it is advised that your first time around, you fully clear the area of goons before taking on the big guy. If you don't, they'll try to attack you while you're fighting him. You don't want that. ...

Re: who agrees with dustin Hoffman..

I agree about TV--American television is quite possibly the best it's ever been. A lot of major films, on the other hand, don't seem to be breaking any new ground but rather recycle the same old tropes (Interstellar, Prometheus) or remake old content in a markedly inferior way (Total Recall, The Thi...

Re: Instruction Manual Idea

JustLikeHeaven, I think you're absolutely spot on about tutorials these days. Video game companies are so afraid of alienating someone that they shoehorn in often very banal instructions on how to complete the most basic actions (use analog stick to move, press X to jump) that could be easily figure...
