Dave, it's time.

Isn't Bloodbourne filling that same need with fixes to the speed and interface?

Start the series at the beginning, with the modern classic origin.

Umbasa.

Yes, Umbasa!

Re: 20th anniversary of Playstation

Calm down everyone lol. Yes, of course the PS4 plays DVDs. I watched one on mine a few days ago.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Are you implying that games are, on balance, lower in quality than they were before the PS1's release? If so, how did the PS1 "mark" this?

Re: Irony regarding the 8th Gen Consoles?

Isn't this basically the exact same topic as you posted before?

I don't think anyone really has a concept of what makes an 8th-gen game. Prettier visuals, sure, but fundamental leaps in gameplay? Not yet.

Re: Online Aggravation

Why not use your PC for online gaming instead of consoles? Since your PC lives online, it's already 90% of the way there. All you have to do is install the games and start playing (assuming you use Steam).

Re: Fall Gaming?

I nominate The Evil Within (PS4, Xbox One). It's a solid successor to Resident Evil 4 that does little to change the formula but doesn't really suffer for it. There are a few minor gripes and annoyances but overall it's a good B-tier survival horror/action title.

Re: Resident Evil 4 - (PS2) - A+

The graphics are a tad more detailed on the Gamecube, and look a bit cleaner. There are more enemies as well. The Cube version is probably the worst way to play the game, as it's on nearly every platform I can think of now. I'm not sure I understand. You're saying the Cube version has better graphi...

Re: Madden 16 (PS4)

I saw the same Amazon deal and was tempted by it. A warning about when you take your PS4 online though--if you haven't had it online all this time, you will have a considerable number of updates to sit through since an entirely new system software revision was released in the mean time (2.0). I woul...

Re: The Horror Movie Lovers Thread

Just saw The Blair Witch Project for the first time. Not scary, but tense. The scariest part was being lost in the woods and not being able to find your way out, as well as everyone's gradual decline into insanity. The film also shies away from depicting anything supernatural, leaving many events op...

You can actually get this game on PS3, it just won't look as good and runs at 20-30 fps rather than 60.
