Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PC)

Metal Gear Solid V, like every Metal Gear before it, is a story about important-sounding proper nouns and their bizarre interactions. Looking past the weird code names, MGSV is, at its best, a rousing tale of revenge and a brilliant stealth sandbox. It will be hard to understand what's going on if y...

Re: 2015/9/1: Playstation Vita: Persona 4 Golden

I have to admit that I'm intrigued about the reader review score for the game currently being a D+. Is it because it's a enhanced re-release of a game (i.e the original Persona 4); it might be interesting information to know if Ptdebate played the original release or if this his first time? The rev...

Re: Disc scratching consoles

Always horizontal. I recall rumors about vertical causing scratches. The scratches are small, nothing like the gashes I remember hearing about on the 360. In fairness I forgot to mention that my fat PS2 disc tray clatters & wobbles when it opens. I know that's not typical of the way a PS2 shoul...

Re: Disc scratching consoles

I've also never heard of scratching issues with the PS2 but I would recommend a slim PS2 for increased reliability.

Re: Phantasy Star Order?

I used to have a guide booklet with all the dungeon layouts. I think it came packaged with the original game. Anyway, it makes it a lot easier to find your way around. Did the listing include this booklet, nesfan?

Mega Man Legacy Collection (PC)

This is the best collection of retro games I've ever played. First of all, the in-game database and museum are replete with content that is all available from the beginning without having to be unlocked. Second, the games are reproduced with the highest degree of accuracy seen in a collection of thi...

Re: Mortal Kombat X for PS3/Xbox 360 cancelled, hooray, it is a true next-gen game now!

Why is this something to say "hooray" about? The current-gen versions of Mortal Kombat X are already out so they don't stand to improve by the lack of a Gen. 7 release. That version was being handled by a different company anyway. All this means is that those without an Xbox One, PS4, or h...

Re: The Joys of New Consoles

These "next gen" consoles are such a pain sometimes. I had a PS3 when they first came out, which I sold. A few years later, I bought another one but I guess I didnt deactivate some feature for watching video on my old console, so I can no longer use that feature with my current account. I...

Re: Does anyone else besides me see the PS3/Xbox 360/iOS/Android/3DS/PS Vita are holding back the PS4/Xbox One/Wii U/PC?

Sorry Sonic, I don't have much of an opinion on the Tomb Raider series. I played the original on the PS1 when it first came out. Too much roaming & climbing, not enough violent action. Infinite bullets was a huge turn off. I've never played another version since. I thought about giving the PS3 ...

Re: Zombi no longer U

I really love this game. The zombies are genuinely scary because of how deadly their bites are and how high the consequences are (permadeath). I'll probably pick this up on the PC later.
