Re: 2017/4/15: Playstation 2: NHL Faceoff 2003, Sega Classics Collection

I'm glad you reviewed Sega Classics Collection. If you hadn't, I would have been under the impression that it was just another run-of-the-mill compilation. I'll have to track down a copy for myself.

Re: NES games I need to review?

I'd love to see your take on Little Nemo and Kirby's Adventure. I've never played Golgo 13 but I'm interested in it and would like to see a review of that as well. Also, something not on the list: Capcom's The Little Mermaid.

Re: Virtual Thoughts on Virtual Reality

I really want to like it. It looks cool but I'm positive I already know how I'll react. It will be a fun little distraction for a good 15 minutes. Then I'll get bored, want a normal controller, and never use VR again.

Final Fantasy VIII Fandub

So I don't know if this is cool or not. Because it is self-promotion. If it's not okay then by all means, moderators, tear down this thread and call me a dingus or something. So anyway, my life's ambition is to be a voice actor. And I got my first taste of voice acting just recently when I was cast ...

Re: Your favorite Space-themed games (classic and modern)

Galaga and Galaga '90
Startropics
Blazing Lazers
Phantasy Star II
Phantasy Star Online
Geometry Wars Galaxies
Super Mario Galaxy
Star Ocean: Til the End of Time
Contra
Crash Bandicoot 2 has some space levels and the last boss fight takes place in space, so I'm counting that.

Re: which version of chrono trigger should i get ?

It depends on what's important to you. The DS version has some extra content that isn't in the other two versions. The Playstation version has some cut-scenes added in that were animated by Akira Toriyama. I don't know how much of a selling point that is for most people here. But the Playstation ver...

Re: Why does emulation garner so much hate?

Rich shelf collectors being jelly. They pay hundreds, if not thousands, to experience nostalgia or what they couldn't have as a kid. Now everyone gets to experience the feeling and collectors "boohoo", and shame anything with the word emulation. Elitist garbage. No time of the day for tho...

Re: Best unknown Wii game

A few come to mind. Arc Rise Fantasia is probably the best RPG on the console. Lost in Shadow is a fun, inventive platformer that seemed to just drop off the face of the Earth after it released. Fortune Street is probably more well-known but I never really hear anyone talk about it. It's basically c...
