Re: Mega Man Legacy Collection (XB1, PS4, PC, 3DS)

Good thing the retail version is coming later. This has now been released digitally for the consoles and PC, and has an intermittent audio issue. Sometimes it sounds right, other times it struggles badly with some of the worst audio emulation I've ever seen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFCgmM17z...

Re: Fatal Frame coming to the Wii U

What makes it sting perhaps most of all, is that thanks to Nintendo's infinite wisdom, Devil's Third is getting a retail release in North America. While there's a segment of gamers looking forward to it, it seems as if nobody that has played it has been impressed. Seen some people at NeoGaf in fact ...

Re: I Doubt Shenmue III will ever see the light of day

I hope they have a heck of a virtual arcade included, since that's going to be the only reason why I purchase this. I bought Shenmue 2 for the Xbox used for $10 or $15 a few years back just to play Hang-On. The main game itself didn't do much for me. It just dawned on me that my favorite part of th...

Re: Fatal Frame coming to the Wii U

Digital exclusivity confirmed for North America. "Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, co-developed by Koei Tecmo Games, launches exclusively in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U on Oct. 22 for $49.99, just in time for Halloween. Players can download this free-to-start game and play the prologue, chap...

Re: Saving a season on NES Tecmo Super Bowl

Did the game boot up correctly on the first try? I've always found it risky for battery backed save data when multiple attempts are necessary to start the game due to poor contact being made between the cartridge and the console's pin connectors. It's a recipe for losing that save data and is one re...

Re: 2015/8/15: Xbox One: Rory McIlroy PGA Tour

I agree completely that it's a sham. It's yet another way of selling the gamer an unfinished product. It's just as bad as sending out something full of shoddy workmanship that's full of technical issues, like some other big publishers have attempted in recent years like Ubisoft. But for the online g...

Re: Rare Replay (XboxOne)

While it would've been a tight squeeze to fit everything into 50 gigs, I think it's a shame that at least the XBLA titles weren't included from the get go. A retail edition of their three N64 remasters was a significant part of the allure of this collection. I'll still get it, but I'm slightly less ...

Re: Zaxxon on consoles?

Not only is it on Sega Genesis Collection for the PS2 and Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the 360/PS3, but the arcade sequel and spin-off are also available in arcade perfect form on modern compilations. Both of which never had a port to a home console or computer back when they were new. Fu...

Re: Atari Max cartridges?

A new, much more conventional looking option has appeared for an Atari 8 bit multicart. :) http://atariage.com/forums/topic/241796-ultimate-cart-sd-multicart-preorders-thread/ The only thing I'm not clear on is support for disk and tape images. Also, we have another option called the 'The!Cart"...
