Re: Sonic Mania on physical media?

Not a done deal by any means, but this GameStop Italy listing for a physical release has renewed people's hope. http://images.nintendolife.com/news/2017/08/gamestop_listing_hints_at_physical_release_for_sonic_mania_on_switch/attachment/0/large.jpg But as anyone that followed Namco Museum on the Swit...

Re: Namco Museum (Switch)

I got a kick out of this shot of Namco Museum running on the Switch, with the Hori vertical stand. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DFyH8LxVoAAwJlD.jpg Makes me hope that more vertically oriented classics show up here (And if they do, that they offer a TATE mode). Where's Vectrex Regeneration when you ne...

Re: First album, artist, or group that rocked your world

I fell in love with Downtown at the age of three. Still love Petula Clark 30+ years later.

Re: Namco Museum (Switch)

I've never had the pleasure of playing it with friends, but I imagine Namco Museum DS is the way to go for playing Pac-Man Vs. Single cartridge multiplayer according to my manual, no link cables, and the commonality of the DS and 3DS hardware probably make it the most realistic way for a group of fr...

Re: The SNES mini is Nintendo's last chance for me

I saw Switch hardware two or three times in the early weeks. But over the past two weeks, I've been in my local Wal-Mart in the middle of the afternoon three times now and they've had multiple units every time. I think the stock shortage is over.

Re: N64 Mini Classic

Nintendo's 1st party lineup often looks great when rendered at 480p on the Virtual Console, so I wouldn't dismiss the possibility. The water in Wave Race still looks great, Paper Mario almost always looks top notch except when text font is shown enlarged to imply a character raising their voice, Sup...

Re: XBox 360 Backwards Compatibility?

That list has been vandalized, so take it with a grain of salt. I've weeded some of it out in recent weeks, but I'm sure that there are additional errors and there's the possibility that some of my edits have been reverted. An awful lot of those titles shown as only backwards compatible in PAL terri...

Re: Simcity SNES.

In the SuperNes game, Bowser is a natural disaster.

If I'm remembering the excellent instruction manual correctly, he's most likely to strike if air pollution in your city is bad.

Re: X-Kaliber 2097 on Retron 5

Given that I don't see anything out there about this game not being compatible with the Retron 5, try cleaning the contacts. I triggered a similarly odd warning screen in Yoshi's Island 20 years ago on genuine hardware, telling me that it was illegal to copy cartridges (Much like the Super Mario All...
