Re: Possible New Features: Comments/Ad-free

Let me get this straight: the ads deliver malware, and you want people to pay you to get rid of them? To directly monetarily support a site that is essentially your own personal gaming blog? If you think you're putting too much into this site, then just shut it down and save the money. You could go...

Your most valuable games

Hi all, What games do you own that can be sold for a pretty penny? And are there any games that you own that are surprisingly valuable? In the 'Classic Gaming' forum, there's a thread about Chrono Trigger, and the poster made a comment that he could not afford the SNES version. I figured Chrono Trig...

Re: Top 10 highest grossing arcade games ever

I know Gauntlet & Double Dragon have been mentioned, but they must be in the top 20, maybe? Golden Axe, Galaga, Frogger, Q-Bert, Bust A Move, all must have made $$$$. Gauntlet: Now that was a quarter eating game if there ever was one. Galaga, Frogger, and Q-Bert were all great games, but I don'...

Re: Top 10 highest grossing arcade games ever

I've been meaning to post this, but I went to Pinball PA, a massive arcade in Hopewell, Pennsylvania. I went back to western Pennsylvania last summer to visit family and friends, and was blown away by this place. I've been to Funspot in New Hampshire, but the arcade in Hopewell is better. Click on t...

Top 10 highest grossing arcade games ever

Hey all, Sut and Scotland brought this topic up in another thread, and I found it interesting: top 10 highest grossing arcade games ever (adjusted for inflation). http://www.usgamer.net/articles/top-10-biggest-grossing-arcade-games-of-all-time 10. Donkey Kong 9. Mortal Combat 8. Mortal Combat II 7. ...

Re: Sega - 15 years later

I'm going to give my 2 cents (A nuisance, who sent, you sent for me?). For many years, I commuted back and forth to Tokyo for work, and early on Sega seemed to be all the rage in Japan. However, that excitement slowly waned over the course of a few years. I know this is a "well, duh" point...

Re: 2016/4/1: Xbox One: Dead or Alive Backgammon

I have to give credit for our resident artist Mark Jewell for coming up with this brilliant concept. I was running a few ideas by the moderators in the moderator forum but not getting much traction. Then Mark posted this screenshot and that pretty much settled it. I love the "Your turn" i...

Re: 2016/4/1: Xbox One: Dead or Alive Backgammon

Dave, you crack me the hell up! This was your best April fools joke ever. Haha, this one fooled me. I forgot what day it was. Yeah, hilarious gag, Critic. Yeah I fell for it too. Woke up early this morning, grabbed my iPad, saw the review and thought "THIS is for the X-Box One?!? Who are they ...

Re: Criticize Your Favorite Video Game!

Skyrim for the 360. I absolutely loved the game and sank a lot of hours into it. Just a great game. But man oh man was the final boss fight a big letdown. I beat it on my first try in about 10 minutes; very anticlimactic.

Re: Streets of Rage & StarFox 64

I never understood the appeal of Star Fox 64. Your team provided almost no help, and I finished the game in 3 or 4 hours. Maybe it's a decent game, but it was never my cup of tea.
