Re: No Split Screen in Halo 5

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I could go into a big ol rant right now...but I won't. It will basically turn into a grumpy old guy complaining about how awesome things used to be and how they suck now.

He's talking about the color commentator. It's the guy who provides brief quips during a televised sporting event, but doesn't do the play by play commentary.

Re: 2015/7/4: Nintendo 64: Waialae Country Club, Rampage 2

I really love the Rampage games. While I fully acknowledge that they're not really good games, I still love them. I'm sure it has to do with my love of King Kong, Godzilla and other Kaiju films. Any game with giant monsters causing destruction will instantly win points with me. I think the Rampage g...

Re: I Doubt Shenmue III will ever see the light of day

It still looks like the Kickstarter is set at it's original goal of $2 million space bucks. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ysnet/shenmue-3/description The rest of the money looks like stretch goals to add more content to the game. Everything I've read is that the Kickstarter was simply created...

Re: Theme Gaming - Bug Games

I think the ultimate bug games are the Earth Defense Force games. I like em all. I HATE bugs and playing these games is like my own personal revenge simulator. Plus they're the closest thing we'll ever get to a Starship Troopers type game.

Re: Game Review Recommendations?

If you feel like mining the PS2/Xbox/GC era for games to review...check out the following. Armed and Dangerous (XBOX) - A third person shooter with insane weaponry and a very British sense of humor. This is a solid little time waster. Giants: Citizen Kabuto (PS2) - Another game from Planet Moon Stud...

Re: Nintendo NX - What Are Your Thoughts?

One more thing I'd like to add to this thread...Nintendo is the only company where it is fun to speculate about their future. When Sony and Microsoft announce a new system you pretty much know what to expect. It will push graphics, have online capabilities and it will have strong media capabilities....

Re: Nintendo NX - What Are Your Thoughts?

By comparison since 2013 there have been 2 Assasin's Creed titles with a 3rd one to be released this year. I am going to chime in and say that is not really fair. Since 2013 Disney has put out 5 movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, all well received, some spectacular, and a sixth in a...

Re: Nintendo NX - What Are Your Thoughts?

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE if Nintendo came out with brand new disc release of a Mother/Earthbound game. Hell at this point, I'd go nuts if they released a compilation disk of Earthbound games. The reality is that it's not a system seller. It would make so called "hardcore gamers" happy, but i...

Re: Is Third Party Support Vital

I should state that my post mainly reflects Nintendo's consoles. They don't have the same issue with handhelds because there isn't any competition to speak of. Even with mobile and tablet gaming they still have a good foothold and make tons of money in the handheld market. Plus the cost of developin...
