Re: Dragons Lair 3D (GameCube)

I've always been interested in this one. I'll need to track down a copy!

Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)

This should be in the "Still Playing" forums, since I first started this game roughly 6 years ago! At one point I gave up and didn't play it for years. Earlier this year I decided to start it all over again. I made it to roughly 25 hours in before I sort of lost interest again. Now, I'm ba...

Re: Favorite Things about Video Games

Favorite Things LOCAL CO-OP - Nothing tops sitting down with your brother or friend and playing a game. Whether you're trying to finish a single player game by passing the controller back and forth or competing head to head...nothing beats experiencing a game with a buddy. Escape - The absolute bes...

Re: 2016/12/7: NES: Wrecking Crew, Fist of the North Star

You need to check out the more recent Fist of the North Star games for 360/PS3. They're pretty ridiculous brawlers. The combat is a bit slower/clunkier than I was expecting, but the fun factor is pretty high. It has crates that reveal fully cooked turkeys that restore your life...that alone is worth...

Re: 2016 Game Awards

It's telling where the industry is/where it is heading when I look at that list and there is almost nothing that I find noteworthy or worth my time. The most disappointing category is Game of the Year. None of those games strike me as anything worthy of BEST of the year. Maybe Inside, but since it's...

Re: 2016/11/30: Nintendo 64: Goldeneye 007, 007: The World Is Not Enough, Perfect Dark

I was kind of scared to click on the article and see the Goldeneye 007 score. In my heart I was hoping it would be an average score, but I had no clue how the Critic would grade it. I think he nailed it though. If you're being completely objective and honest, Goldeneye in 2016 is completely average....

Re: Friendly Black Friday Reminder!

Yes, the lack of blowout prices on the Wii U are REALLY disappointing. I was hoping to pick one up with a fistful of games, but that doesn't seem like it's gonna happen.

Re: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Yeah, this was a really fun game to play. It's kind of infamous in my state because of the whole Curt Schilling/38 Studios fiasco that went down in Rhode Island. Even though this game was made by Big Huge Games, people still associate it with the RI game studio that was unceremoniously shuttered due...

Re: Happy 15th Anniversary Xbox

Yes! I came here to basically say that the original Xbox was the closest modern console we had to a Sega Genesis. Much of this had to do with SEGA providing lots of exclusives, but the original Xbox had this over the top ridiculous "attitude" we hadn't seen since the mid 1990s. I absolutel...
