Re: Best "next gen" HD era original franchise?

In no particular order: Mass Effect, Gears of War, Uncharted and Mario Galaxy. Mass Effect is the pinnacle of RPGs if you ask me, Gears of War is a fantastic co-op shooter, the Uncharted series are among the best action games ever made, and Mario Galaxy is 3d platforming perfection (you might argue ...

Digital Game trading post

I've got 3DS codes for Steamworld Dig and Gunman Clive. I got them as part of a humble bundle and I already own them. Rather than sell them off I thought it'd be fun to offer them up for trade. Nothing big expected. If you have something digital on Xbox One, 360, PS3 Wii U or 3DS that you aren't usi...

Re: Political Correctness

Yes, let's not give businesses options. Let's be like the soviets and tell them what to do with their businesses! I dated a chick from Illinois years ago Laura, and she had that same mindset......she was irritating. But please Vexer, keep that out of this :3 See this is that line I was talking abou...

Re: Political Correctness

Another quick thought about the business side of this. If your business is being hurt because of what you perceive as PC people being offended by something you say, that means you have offended enough people to impact your business! (sort of begging the question a bit I know) So maybe what you're vi...

Re: Political Correctness

I don't necessarily disagree with you, and I wasn't trying to say we don't need discussion. However there is a fine line between letting people discuss and work through their feelings and accepting discrimination. Is it up for debate whether or not it's okay for woman to be stoned or burned in the ...

Re: Political Correctness

I'm going to take a controversial stance here and say that I think it's good, and a normal sign of society becoming more accepting of differences. If by 'it' you mean the labeling, the shaming, and the blacklisting that we see, then no, 'it' is decidedly not good. Shaming is not the path of society...

Re: Political Correctness

I'm going to take a controversial stance here and say that I think it's good, and a normal sign of society becoming more accepting of differences. 50-60 years ago people were probably complaining about how all the PC liberals complained about the n word and racist jokes. Does anyone really want to g...

Yes! I'm a smart guy (modest too) but I'm an idiot at slide puzzles. That puzzle nearly stopped me from beating one of my favorite games of all time.

Re: IGA returns with new "Metroidvania" style game

Sigh. I couldn't resist and backed at $60 for the physical copy. Curse all these retro kickstarters for making my wallet light. Who wants to bet on when Kojima creates a kick starter for a metal gear inspired game? Seems like now every time great developers leaves a big company all us fans are rewar...

Re: "It's terrible but I like it anyway" games

I don't think I would anymore but I loved Kao the Kangaroo (Dreamcast) when I was a kid. I tried playing it for a moment recently and it is clearly something that was thrown together for a quick buck; most of the levels are just series of platforms floating in empty space, with no backgrounds even. ...
