Re: Sea of Thieves Pirate game

Yeah, I'm not quite sure how this game lives up to Rare's past legacy of great games.

But at least Microsoft is letting Rare try something new.

And who doesn't love pirates?

Re: Nintendo NX - What Are Your Thoughts?

Actraiser, Morpheus got, I kid you not, 2 minutes and 20 seconds of the Sony press conference. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but Morpeus isn't coming out at all. Like ever. I'm pretty confident about the NX being spring/summer 2017. I am absolutely certain after that press conference that ...

Re: TLG, FFVII, and Shenmue 3...all at the same time?

Hey, I'm with you. 3, count them 3 vapor ware titles coming out of nowhere. Of course, Sony needed to do something. They have no 1st party games launching this year or major exclusives this fall. Sony sells hope like no other company. FF7 remake is huge. Shenmue 3, not so much, at least to me. How m...

Re: One Sentence N64 Reviews

Kinda like far out high tech Ben Hur chariot racing meets Junkyard Wars, and a good way to be popular at your particular hive of scum and villainy. Episode 1 Racer! My favorite racer on the console. Have you tried the Dreamcast version? That game is absolutely fantastic. I've never played the N64 v...

Re: Nintendo NX - What Are Your Thoughts?

I just watched a clip about Sony's Morpheus. Did anyone else catch the release date? It's going to be early 2016. Seriously, if Sony releases a VR set for the PS4 and Nintendo still only plans on supporting the Wii U until 2017 I'll eat my shirt. I have no idea what the NX will be but I am confident...

Re: Nintendo NX - What Are Your Thoughts?

Rev, I have to disagree on every point. The biggest push from Nintendo all year is a multi-player shooter about Squids shooting paint that has been given everything from multiple Directs, to Betas, to free DLC. Um, yeah, they're releasing free DLC as it only shipped with 5 maps... Five freaking map...

Re: Nintendo NX - What Are Your Thoughts?

I found this and felt it goes over in the NX topic vs the e3 topic. http://www.themarysue.com/nintendo-wii-u-may-be-dead/ Unless Tanabe is mistaken, the cat’s out of the bag, and the Wii U’s successor will be unveiled at next year’s E3, when the Wii U will only be four years old. That’s a pretty sho...

Re: E3 time!

hehe, let's agree to disagree! The other reason my hunch is they're not announcing the NX this year is to avoid cannibalizing any Wii U consoles until the NX arrives. If they announced this year, well, there goes Wii U sales from now through Q4 of 2016. If they announce the NX at e3 2016 or even ear...

Re: Sega's post Dreamcast strategy - Baffling !

Plus, MS offered up Sega games as pack-in options for various Xbox SKUs over the years. The other reason may have to do with not having the tools available to easily port to multiple systems. You figure they had to baby step their way into multiplatform development. Today, everyone uses Unity, Unrea...
