Re: Return of the Typo Thread!

I always thought the rules for prepositions were that you did not need to use a comma unless they were a part of a phrase with a verb of some sort thrown in. Anyways, most of your typos were right on the money. The only ones that I might question are those with a preposition...but that's just me. It...

Re: SuperHero TV

They really out done themselves with Flash's season finale. I loved it. The paradoxes pretty much make the case for none of it to have ever occurred to begin with. But it was still fun! I read someone else's blog about the Flash finale and agreed completely. The Flash is a fun show. No matter how ou...

Re: Arduboy -- Card Sized Gaming!

The concept itself is pretty sweet. Give it a color screen and durability and I'd consider adding it to my wallet. Normally, I use my phone when I'm waiting in line at the gas station but this could be as good or better with emulators.

Re: Video Game Crunching

From what i've heard the multiplayer issues with the Master Chief Collection were largely fixed last month. Yeah, I heard the same thing. I tried it. Couldn't find a match on one play list - switched to another - best 2 on 4 game ever... This was last weekend. The single player campaign still doesn...

Re: Favorite board/card games

We normally play two or three games when we pull it out. If that's the case then we can probably complete each game in about 30-45 minutes. Yep, it's the wife and I that play it. Because it's the two of us I think anyone can hang in there. With the two of us it seems like the win conditions are accr...

Re: Favorite board/card games

Anyone ever try Settlers of Cataan?

I swear my wife wins every time we play this darn game. I've yet to win a match with her. I always tend to focus on one strategy while she ho-hums through all of them and ends up killing me.

It's disgusting...disgusting I tell you!

:) fun though.

Re: Script Writing?

I briefly looked at Twine and thought you might appreciate this quote. And aside from being free, it's really not programming at all — if you can write a story, you can make a Twine game. -- Anna Anthropy Maybe, start with that and then see what reaching out to some of the Indi developers are doing....

Re: Script Writing?

Last summer I had the idea to create a game, http://greateightadventures.com/ ...I bought a fancy new laptop, tools for art generation, etc. I nearly paid for a license for Unity. And then real life kicked in around mid August with a huge project due at work. As a result, everything for my pet game ...
