Re: R.I.P. NES Classic (Thanks, Nintendo!)

There's a really good article on Game Informer's website that addresses the ridiculousness of Nintendo pulling the plug on the NES Classic. Part of the problem, as stated by the author, are Nintendo apologists; Your post made my day. I get to blame appologists for ruining Nintendo. That's beautiful...

Re: R.I.P. NES Classic (Thanks, Nintendo!)

If that's the case of Nintendo of Japan not having empathy for those with nostalgia, it makes one wonder what value or voice Nintendo of America has. Clearly, a simple eBay search could prove the consumer demand for the classic NES. The amount of money Nintendo has lost out on by not understanding t...

Re: Nintendo SNES Mini Classic

How about Terranigma? It never was released stateside. If I recall correctly it completes the Illusion of Gaia trilogy. I've always wanted to give it a shot. I'm confident I could find a ROM and give it a go but including a "never" released here game would make it an instant buy for me (as...

Re: R.I.P. NES Classic (Thanks, Nintendo!)

Yeah, same here. And I refused to buy one at more than retail price thinking that eventually they'd be in the store and easy to pick up at some point. Who knew Nintendo was this dumb? In my humble opinion the notion that people were turning them to emulator machines with 800 games is the reason why ...

DC: Soul Caliber
Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire: N64

At least that's why I bought the N64. Good times.

What would a pack-in icon look like?

A Joey in a Kangaroo?

How about an icon for games that support LAN?

Man, if they'd launch with a number of these games that would make me want to get a Switch. Using your old passwords is a brilliant concept.

Re: Resurgence of Split-screen?

Well, as someone that got banned twice on the Halo forums for being a bit too vocal about this subject I'm happy they stated they'll include split screen going forward. However, I'll believe it when I see it. They said the same thing about Halo 5 and gradually withdrew all support of split screen ov...
