Re: The Switch won't launch with a Virtual Console

I'm agreeing with everything you guys said. Playing devil's advocate, it doesn't matter at launch. The reason - it's already sold out. They'd "lose" $50 by bundling a game. They could and my guess is release a holiday bundle where they include 1:2 switch. By then they'll have plenty in sto...

Re: Dormant Sega Franchises

Personally, I'd love to see another Panzer Dragoon. The recent Xbox One launch game certainly wasn't as good as actual Panzer Dragoon games. And if we're on our wish list, I'd love to see a Panzer Dragoon Saga remix/redo. I finally got a copy (burned) and means to play it and am itching to try it ou...

Re: Good Superman Game?

This almost happened on the NES. No, I'm not talking about the horrible Kemco Superman NES game, but rather an unreleased Sunsoft title (also just called Superman) planned to be released late in the system's lifespan before being turned into a lawyer-friendly version called "Sunman" and l...

Re: Introducing the Nintendo Switch

But even if every game was a 10 out of 10, the infamous one button controllers of the 80's are nothing compared to the modern imaginary controllers. Choosing between "Let's cover a modern game up with our confused imaginary button mashing!" or playing an on rails version of Pitfall? It'd ...

Re: Introducing the Nintendo Switch

Despite all the negativity, is anyone here still pre-ordering? Plus, I'm pretty excited for a new Bomberman game, since I was pretty convinced that the series was dead after Hudson Soft was bought out. I'm not but that's because I don't have a lot as much time anymore. If I were single and had no k...

Re: Introducing the Nintendo Switch

I'm surprised nobody is talking about screen size. That's the biggest bummer to me. Currently that isn't considered a tablet, it's considered a phone. Those controllers must be absolutely microscopic. Even an extra inch would have made all the difference in the world to me (Haha!). And to the wife....

Re: Nintendo Switch: Boom or Bust?

Honestly, I'm wondering if Nintendo is going to try and build hype by having small quantities of consoles available. They have done this with amiibos and the nes classic, it wouldn't surprise me if they pulled this tactic on their console to try and build hype and demand... That's exactly what they...

Re: NES games I need to review?

+1 for Little Nemo I remember renting it as a kid and loved you got to ride a ton of various animals. Great game. And would highly recommend Willow as well. It's a Zelda like RPG light game based on the movie. It would most likely garner a solid B. Lastly, A Boy and His Blob would be a fun read. I r...

Re: Number Muchers (Apple II)

Hah, we had the car builder one in my school as well. I remember the way to get it to get to the highest speed possible was making it look like a Delorean to help reduce the wind coefficient. Good times.
