Re: What now for Wii U ?

I agree it's a great point. You could speculate Nintendo might now enter the arms race spec wise ? And not opt for another gimmicky console ? Perhaps a console that would better support multi-plats thereby enticing third parties back into the fold by using similar PC based architecture of the PS4/Xb...

What now for Wii U ?

Most view Nintendo's E3 as lukewarm at best, there seems to be a whiff of holding titles back for NX. So where does that leave the Wii U ? Is it going to fade into obscurity unsupported and abandoned or is it going to go down in a Dreamcast style blaze of glory ? It's got a good (if lacking in varie...

Oops sorry your right. But I agree Nintendo have always used their popular characters/franchises for spin off titles and Metroid will still have it's core games.

Re: Japan and the Xbox One

It would be interesting to see if any non-Japanese console or home computer has ever had a decent presence in Japan - Atari ? Commodore ? Sinclair ? Amstrad ? I can't think of any off the top of my head. So perhaps it's not a case of not buying American it's a case of only buying Japanese. I presume...

If your a multi platform holder yes, if your only system is a Wii U then it's probably a welcome addition to the library. Kinda like Conduit on the original Wii.

Re: Game Review Recommendations?

I prefer your older system reviews I'd like you to polish off some systems libraries like the Channel F, 32x, Atari 2600 as you seem close to complete set of reviews.

Perhaps review games on a generational rota basis games from second generation, third, forth, etc.

Re: E3 time!

Will have to disagree with you there Vexer. I think a systems exclusives is what gives it personality. PS4 has got some great exclusives coming and Xbone also perhaps the consoles will now start getting their own personalities. Thought the Starfox game looked interesting on Wii U but I've heard the ...

Re: Atari Anthology (PS2)

Gravitar 2600 Good lord ! Forget 'NES Hard' forget Bloodborne this is ball busting hard. I knew I was in for a hard time after playing the arcade version, then when I saw the variations that follow the initial one are all designed to make the game easier or more manageable (100 ships, no gravity, bu...

Re: PS2 via HD component cable 480i

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=270704183226&globalID=EBAY-GB This is what I got for the PS2. Make sure your HDTV has the required sockets. It's similar to the AV cables but this is 5 rather than 3 leads so you would have green (or yellow), blue, 2 red and a white. A...

PS2 via HD component cable 480i

I've mentioned on another thread I've taken interest in Sega's post Dreamcast offerings and picked myself up a copy of Out Run Coast 2 Coast. Whilst loading the game I noticed an option for 480i progressive. My then set up didn't support this. So a quick jump onto eBay and a measly £2.92 later I now...
